I made a build and found out it worked quite well, well you say so what? It's a Smiting Monk Build!

without furthe ado I present to you:

Drake Flame's Judgement

Smiting Prayers: 15(12+1+2)
Divine Favor:12(11+1)
Protection Prayers:7(6+1)

1)Signet of Judgement
2)Bane Signet
3)Holy Strike
4)Smite
5)Banish
6)free slot(Divine intervention)
7)free slot(Reversal of fortune)
8)Res sig or Rebirth

equipment:Ivor's Smiting Rod and Ivor's Icon

this build has the element of surprise because when you fight, what does a warrior target first? Yes, you! you will completely take him off guard. especially if he uses frenzy, then you do some sick damage. 150 from SoJ, 210 from Holy strike, 112 from Bane signet, 200 from smite, 110 from Banish, that a good

Unforetunately there are some long recharge times. I'd suggest mesmer for the 2nd and use the mantra of inscriptions to make the signets recharge quicker.

Also you are not burning all that much energy, between the signets and the slow recharge smites, so run retribution on yourself for more damage to the attackers?

Should monks bring Res Sig in PvP? I've been a little confused about this, as I'm new to PvP.

That is same build as zaishen monk smiting at battle isles I think.
And for pvp it would take some good timing to own, and I've seen it done many times.

Since we are on the smiter build topic I built a Smiter TEam thread maybe we could come up with smiter monks for team play *gasp*
