Portable GW for Pocket PCs and Ipods

I think they ought to start to make a modification so that GW runs without the registry keys and such so you can bring it with you.

So I don't see any reason why it cannot be "official". It could very well be another selling point versus other Online games.

I could see the words "Play anywhere with an internet connection, including on your IPOD" on the box in Chapter ____ if this was made official.

Right now I'm a skeptic because I don't install anything that might nullify the ToS.

I see your point and this its a great idea. But it would only be able to run on something like a Palm Pilot. Ipods dont have an internet connection. Niether of those could actually load GW though, because they arent powerful enough.

well it would be cool, but this would make Guild Wars to be less tournament friendly as if a tournament held out, they will have problems with the candidants who come over with each play GW with different platform..

I know some Korean game (like Lineage ) used to have a mobile version of their game. Its not the true game, but just a sample mini game type of thing with 8-bit graphic. However, I think there is a way where you can port the gold you earn in such mini game to your character in the real game. Of couse I think its a paid service too.

So maybe a GW mini game?

How could you even play on such a tiny screen though? I use a 17" wide screen and sometimes I wish it was bigger lol.
