Mesmer, by far. In FPS's you will be hard-pressed not to find me playing as a sniper due to the value I place on precision. Mesmers have to be precise or they suck. Nothing against other classes, but that's just what my experience has shown me and I've played as almost every class. Yes, that includes Warriors.

Mesmer and Necro are my favorites, I really enjoyed playing a ranger too for a while, but then focused more on mesmer later on.

Monk, especially in PvE. Its pretty much instant invite for missions, you can screw arround with W/Mo's when they call out for a heal and most importantly I just find it in general a fun class to play around with.

My favorit profession is mesmer.
Why?
First: I like "cloth armor".
Second: The mesmer's male clothing I may think that looks like someone in daily life.
Third: Mesmers' skills do not have so obvious effects; mesmers skills are not like "hack and slash"; warriors, rangers, elementalists, healing prayers monks, necromancers in their basics all are akin in my view.
