Texture Bugs in GW
Cybah
Wtf? First one is without marking, second with.
I've got this error since days or maybe much longer.
Restarting GW doesn't help.
When I mark monk players, they get white glowing hair oO

Did you update to NVIDIA's ForceWare 84.21 recently (that is, if you're even using a NVIDIA card)? I noticed the same problem recently when I updated from 77.72, fixed it by downgrading to a previous version.
Otherwise...try reparing the data archive.

Code:
x:\path\to\guild_wars\gw.exe -repair

ive noticed something on the players faces, anyone with hair infront of their face the color of the skin is screwed up where the hair is, its lighter than the rest of the face.

Yeah I have same problems with Avatars near some god's statue, in mursaat tower while it's shooting, Titan Bosses sometimes flick in colour etc...
Guess it's the Nvidia compatible problems or something.

Have that problem on ATI cards too, only in dx9 mode. Also with newer ati drivers (6.0 ->) imps and lava have light blue textures sometimes, only in dx9 mode too. So now i'm using catalyst 5.7 to get rid of blue imps and lava, problem with ether seals is present though.
Hysteria
I have an ATI card an the towers give me the same glitch. I've noticed this with the Cat 6.3's and 6.4's. I don't remember if older drivers have this glitch or not.
Cybah
just downgraded to 71.84... still there
BuGi
Try starting gw in dx8 mode and see if the problem is present there:
gw.exe -dx8
gw.exe -dx8
Cybah
fine -dx8 works but I think it looks slightly worse
Huntmaster
I've had a few problems, but it only ever happens in Ember.
NoChance
I get the same exact problem as the OP at that Mursaat tower -- I'm running the latest Forceware ... that's the only texture problem that I have though, so no big deal for me.
Count to Potato
Its the curse, of the Ring of Fire!... Nvidia probably has compatibility problems,
Cybah
it was my only texture problem too, now solved by using -dx8
@huntmaster: welcome in matrix ;D

I knew Ascalon wasn't real!
Anyway, i fixed my problem with a catalyst update a long time ago..(ATI card.) I still enjoy that screenie though.

DarkGanni
same problem occurs with the chests and lyssa's avatar in temple of the ages (it's like a spotlight)

I got the same problem as the OP. Also the Azure Shadows turn white when highlighted.
I'm also using nVidia's 84.21 drivers.
Thanks for the -dx8 tip but I think I'll keep it at dx9. ANet should resolve this.

Tachyon
Same problem as the OP here.
Also, if you'd just check this out for me. You know the Drake boss, Geckokaru Earthwind, near where the original screenshot is taken. Go up to him and hover the pointer over him, when he glows I get the same 'square' problem on his tail. Has anyone else noticed this?
