I saw this like a month or two ago when I was ordering my Factions, but I realised that it didn't say anything at all about pre-order keys, so I decided to go with Game and get the normal edition instead...

But if they are giving pre-order keys as well...XD

And on play.com i get; Guild Wars 2: Factions (Campaign 2) (PC) Awaiting Stock £17.99.

Dont mind the delays so far still having fun with the headstart. plus i paid cheaper and i always espected to have to wait longer for the game.

Another Thread shows that some people that order from game.net already got CE.

Just come off the phone from Tesco, all Tesco CE have been delayed till the 5th May and the item has been removed from the site. I ask how many they would get but they don't know, at least its not 30th June

Got the same reply May 5th from tesco about the CE. i am cool it as long i get it around that date and not June.

Play.com dont have a clue when they get more instock. maybe a trip to the shops for the Normal Version.

I cancelled my CE from them last night and picked up the SE today instead. I'm wondering if anyone has had a CE shipped from them at all, I'm guessing quite a few people on the forums ordered from them. I think I'll buy my games from the usual places in future and just use Tescos for the odd pint of milk.

That's it, I should import the game from Europe, not only do they have extra non-pre-order copies where the states ran out of pre-orders over a month ago, but they are a better version.

Tesco's original moto when they became a hypermart/supermarket was something like "stack 'em high, sell 'em low" ^^
For the standard version, it's still cheaper to get it from play.com @ £17.99 w/ free delivery. What is the price of GW:F CE from Tesco's now - £29.97 or £42.74? I was only planning on getting the standard version due to the ~£30 I would save, but if it really is under £30...

Its true what you say but it all depends how much you really want to pay for a game. you could try Game.net its only £50 for Factions CE or wait a bit longer and get it for £32 from Tesco, all up to you.

Plus they have shipped the Normal Factions £24, they just dont have enough stock for the Collectors edition. and we know whos fault is that

Play.com is selling it for £17.99 but it run out of stock.

A little bit more info here would help people I guess... I actually work for a UK distributor.

Factions, arrived on Monday morning, and was shipped out same day to the likes of Game, EUK (Woolworths), Dixons, Amazon + others.

The Collectors Edition, on the other hand didn't arrive until Thursday (again to a mass of same/next day dispatches to the various suppliers).

I've just (literally), been on the phone to Tesco about my order for the CE, and their stock arrived last night (Friday), so they should be sending shortly...

However, all the CE stock that the distributor has, has been sold already. At this time, they are not sure when any more will arrive.

Ok, so I just phoned Tesco and was told they have stock but can't post it until the 4th because the 5th is the RELEASE date of the CE edition. What a bunch of [email protected] Anyone know who the distributor is, is it NCsoft or someone else, as apparently the distributor fix the release date, and we won't get it sooner unless the distributor says so.

I just phoned them up again - my order still says Awaiting stock - 2 May.

So I said, what's going on with my order
"we are awaiting stock"
But yesterday you told me you had stock in and were waiting until the release date provided by the distributor
"yes, that's right, we do have stock in and are waiting for permission to send it out"
But a friend of mine had his dispatched by you yesterday night
"yes, yours is in processing for sending out"
So which is it? Out of stock, in stock but waiting for permission, or in a queue for being sent out?
"its in the queue to be sent out"

I must say I feel super confident in ordering from Tescos again in future.

Then i got the full game from amazon.co.uk with a gift voucher i got from them asking about if i was getting oblivion on time and they gave me a gift voucher to say sry

full price amazon.co.uk £19.99 - with voucher and postage taken off £18

So intotal i got the preorder & full game for £20
