FoW armour???

Ok I've heard all the rumblings...
just curious, how much gp does FoW armour cost,
ball park figure cuz im just gona grind my way there...

Well each peice costs 15k each not including the items needed...i suggest you go to guildwarswiki.org and look up the needed material...ectos usually go for 7k and shards go for 4k

Here's a pic of the materials needed for a warrior.
It are the costs of Grotto/Citadel armor + ecto's and shards.

it will of course vary depending on the market value of ectos, shards, and materials, as well as if you are getting a warrior set or not (extra piece) but assume around 1.5 - 1.7 million.

If you look at it from a pure gold/platinum standpoint, it seems completely unattainable. But if you work like crazy to farm up the Ectoplasms and Shards, all that's really left are the minor materials and the 60k to buy each piece. But don't expect to get that armor from scratch in a short time, it takes many many months of determination. And good luck!

And just to clarify...

Mesmer, Necromancer, Elementalist, Monk, and Ranger:
-105 Globs of Ectoplasm and 105 Obsidian Shards.

Warrior(includes the Helm):
-120 Globs of Ectoplasm and 120 Obsidian Shards.

Actually, ecto's gone down in price. I just got my FoW armor and paid an average of 6.5k per ecto & 4.1k per shard. (EDIT: this is for everything but warriors, add 15 shards & ectos + 15k & materials for that)

Ecto: 6.5 x 105 = 682,500g
Shards 4.1 x 105 = 430,200g
Cash = 60K
Total = 1,172,700g + normal crafting materials (about 4 - 10k)

But it can be cheaper if you find a piece you don't really need - like Mesmer gloves, which look just like the Mesmer enchanters Droks gloves - so you may be able to save about 150k.

EDIT:Like Rayne said, lots & lots of farming involved. I'd suggest spending time in FoW & UW and other high- end areas to help speed up the process.

Yea, take it from a guy that took the time to save up and work, for the needed money and materials to craft Warrior FoW armor.
