Easy way for a ranger to win vs Dopleganger

Now maybe I'm just dumb, But I was a lvl 18 R/E and I could not beat the Dopleganger. A few minutes ago I was playing and I thought of something, the Dopleganger doesn't have a pet! So I put all points in beast mastery and extra points in marksmenship, and equipted all beast skills (filled extra places with Capture) and fought him. Sure enough I won the first time in. Just thought I'd let all you rangers know.

Beside the pet method, my first time ever beating him was using posion, then I ran around, and shot him every so often untill he was being degened.

--easyest way to win as ranger--

Use sprits, like fav. winds and winter, by the time hes cast them all (which he does before he does ANYTHING else) you can have him down to a tiny speck of health.

Max out marksmanship and take high damage bow attacks and one preperation, the second it starts he will start casting the preperation. Just run up next to him and keep attacking. Since you are close, he will beat you with his chaos axe and not use your skills, so you can just dominate him in about 9 seconds.

ya i did it with spirits too, but i was lvl 16 when i did the ascend, his bow dmg surpass my bow dmg so i died like 1,2 times, on the last time all i did is getting real close to him so he would hit me with his chaos axe, and then i won .

I've never understood why Rangers, Warriors, Eles and Mesmers actually need guids for this sorta thing.
Warrior = Frenzy = Win
Ranger = Max damage and stand next to it
Ele = Blow the crap out of it
Mesmer = Empathy, Backfire whatever just cast it and laugh

Anyone whos actually played there character should know how. Monk and Necro are the only chars that have a hard time. Unless you've capped certain elites from certain places you shouldn't of reach yet

What? I'd say necro are the easiest and most amusing. Take hp sacrifice skills and chillibains/barbed signet (self degen) and watch him kill himself. Perhaps some spamable damage dealer to help him along.

Monk however, is indeed difficult. (Especially now that the doppel uses healing breeze if you have it equiped)

This Is Annoying Me I Can Kill Doppleganger At Lvl 5!!! Just Bring 6 Spirits!!!! Once The Fight Started He Will Cast Them Spirits Which Is 6!!!! Imagine How Long Will That Took!!! And Bring Apply Poison!!! Then Hes Dead Before He Finish Making 6 Spirits!!!
