When exactly is this balance update supposed to come? I heard it was the 15th about a week and a half ago, then recently heard it would be on the 17th. Now all the sudden it's midnight PST so the 18th has finally begun. I looked in the dev watch forums but just saw a bunch of threads about random Gaile forum posts. When is the update really coming?

I expect it to be 1-2 days at most. I expect it to happen after the post playoff's are over (parties, etc.)

those threads are getting funny, almost like Runescape funny.

If you have never palyed Runescape, it usually updates on Monday morning, and if they are even 2 secs late like 40,000 members flood their forums and post "WHRE R TEH UPDTE!!@!@!@!@#@###@!!11one!!@!!"

Its likely that they had come across a bug in the update, or thought of a better way of changing something. Gaile has said before that this is qutie often why updates come out later than planned

What bothers me is that they unlocked the ladder, but didn't update first. I was under the impression they'd do both at the same time.

This game used to be like that with the whole update thing. I remember just after the game was released they used to update everything just about every wednesday. When it didnt get updated the second it was wednesday people went berserk on the boards. It was actually quite amusing.

I can understand not rolling out skill updates during the playoffs. I can understand not continuously rolling skill updates during the season.

But, and not for the first time, I agree 100% with Kakumei. I logged in and Observer Mode is full of GvG's. So I expect that the skill update happened. Oh how the disappointment swept over me.

I'm not trying to whine... it's just that... I look forward to the skill updates.
