Allright, some friend of mine sent me a video that required quicktime. I've installed quicktime, and now for some reason, QT wants to display all the flash animations as well. It wants to, but then decides a huge Q with a question mark in the middle of it is better. Now, I could just uninstall it, but that would uninstall I-Tunes as well, which, due to a few small features, I actually like the program.
Does anyone know if there's some setting I can fix? Some way to delete QuickTime and leave iTunes intact? Help!
Arrrrrrrgh! Quicktime!

You can change the settings under the Control Panel in Windows, just look for Quicktime.
I would recommend you uninstall Quicktime, if you need it for *.mov files, try the Quicktime Alternative

You can un-install Quicktime and it will not remove iTunes.
I 2nd the vote for Quicktime Alternative. Windows Media Player Classic (not a ms product) is what I use for all video.
You could also try re-downloading and installing macromedia shockwave and flash again.

You can easily tell quicktime to NOT play flash in its options menu in the Control Panel. You can even remove its entry from startup.

Yeah, itunes has quicktime for the ipod videos and it needs it. If you don't use itunes then use the alternative quicktime.
