If you're going 1v1 against a warrior, using a stance such as defensive stance or physical resistance coupled with Illusionary Weaponry and flurry on a Me/W will win every time, but most of the time, it's not practical because once enchantment removal and you're pretty much screwed. Otherwise, a build using Spiteful Spirit or Ineptitude isn't always too bad, with empathy, Spirit of Failure, and Price of Failure as part of the combo.

Er... they don't? Yet another way Prophecies skills are far superior to Faction ones... I mean I really start feeling for Factions only players, they are going to get pommelled with SS, Inepti, IWAY, whathaveyou... Not like they get anything to compensate either... I mean, lets be honest- the new skills are cool and all but nothing as powerful as some of the Prophecies only elites.

If you plan fighting against W on a PvP arena, 4 skills are enough:

Crippling Anguish
Conjure Phantasm
Clumsiness
Leech Signet (Healing signet interrupt)

If you plan to include Rangers among your potential targets, then take Spirit Shackles as well, otherwise pick Drain Enchantment.

Finally, to be able to do some damage against casters, include Arcane Conundrum with Power Drain.

You'll need at least 13 on illusion and a 20% illusion recharge bonus.

Add your res sig, and you're ready !

Though I have to agree, any Factions-only character that is not a sword character will suck somewhat. But, what the heck, you can beat people with 8 pallys!

happy enchanted heroes (HEH)

Leech Signet (Healing signet interrupt)

just a point on that leech sig has a 45 sec recharge and healing sig has something like 5 sec.
also since when did power drain do damage?

Leech : usually when W use their HS in PvP, they're under 70% of their life bar. With 8 degen, they usually don't have time to use it twice. Verified 9 times out of 10.

Well, Power Drain never did any "direct" damage, indeed ! But spamming degen + ArcaneC + interrupting is not enough of a damage ? After all, this is MAINLY an anti-W build
