That's where Balthazzar's Spirit comes into play, +1 energy per hit. I usually let the ghouls hit me for a while to retrieve by lost energy.

I'm going to cap SoJ today, and then I'll try this build So long, that I can get max dmg, gold Sephis Axe

GJ on build, works nicely. Only thing I hate is majesty rest itself, trying to run past ghouls that cripple, NM's and MoS, which is just a little problem.

could just kill the ghouls

LOL how you can avoid that Defeansive Roar? Took 10 mins to kill it and I only got Decayed Orr Emblem

Just walk back a little while he's "roaring", you'll avoid the dazed condition easily

EDIT: Killed Rotscale in about 15 secs

Never realized there was a w/mo build for this, I usually farm everything w/ warr mesmer anyway. Use disrupt chop on his heal area, from there there its all downhill, never did get anything good from these guys, cept the dragon that dropped a black dye and one of the kryta chest had +5 energy head. I would love to get a 15% stance sephis though, to replace my 13%, or even a 15^50 one, although I'd probly end up selling a perfect one -_-

Gotta be a way to do this with a monk. dont feel like capping SOJ 4 my warrior.

eh, just get warr mes w/ physical resistance and disrupt chop + cleave on axe, draw him out of the island to the buttom of the steps where the other dragons can't hit you then just 1 on 1 him then. Spam heal sig cause of the disease when you get to 1/2 hp then just attack him and time his heal area(if you don't then you get healed as well, so its all good), once you disrupt heal area, just go all out on him, he'll be dead soon enough. w/ physical resistance, you can solo everything, although you might wanna bring ele resistance too cause of the phantoms. Never got any good drop from these guys though, I would like to know what's the best drop someone ever got from rotty, like a max sephis or deadbow or something, maybe I'll get the motivation to do these runs again, get alot of minor runes though.

alot of you say about nrg problems, y not take a smiting staff :P.... .and wot about pre casting SoJ

Don't you recieve 25 energy with full Glad armor, and I usually take some ghouls (sp?) with me to add an energy boost.

Just wanted to say I had a max Gold Dead bow drop from Rotscale.

+5 defense
19% damage when below 50%.

Best drop I got from this run is a gold dead bow which I tried to salvage the grip of:

14-26 req 8
+14% on stance
+5 armor
ebon dmg

I got the ebon string -_- had the bow been 14>50 I would've custoed it on my ranger even if its saveral pts off max, since the dmg by math would'nt have mattered so much, had it been perfect, It would've increased my ecto collection ^^ Oh and rotscale drops **** for me, nothing but bones and decayed orr emblems, its his lackies that do and most of them are non max -_- sucks really.
