Are Ettins extra vulnerable to certain elemental damage ?

Simple question :

I have been farming ettins with a physiacal damage sword.
Are they more vulnerable to any element ?
In other words would i profit for a fiery/lightning/cold or ebon mod ?

I doubt they would be vulnerable to a specific element, but as warriors they should be more vulnerable to elemental damage in general.

true they should be more vulnerable to ele dmg ... best of all tho is dmg of 20 minions rawr

best way i ever seen to farm eitens ever is MM, maybe i shouldnt say, but im sure someone also posted on these forums somewere too, so meh

Someone broke down the damage to ettins of various elemental weapons. That thread should be around here some where.

If I remember Icy and Shocking did more damage then Ebon and Fiery.. significantly more damage.

I use a shocking axe on ettins when farming them. It has proven to be the best damage amplifier for me.

ive found that bewteen shocking and fiery swords, the fiery was better.

then i switched to a fiery axe and was pleased...i was thinking about doing a MM farm run with my MM necro, but never got around to it.

Really easy to farm ettins with an mm, used to do it all the time.

not 100% sure, but I heard fire does the best dmg.

maxed out fire nuking is THE quickest way to drop a group of ettins.. around 10seconds per group.. regardless of how many are in the group. 7 drop as quick as 3 do.

I use the IDS mainly because, conjure frost= water damage = you can use rust = slows down their healing signet cast time= -40 AL for them = you do more damage.

dual meteor shower is def the best way to farm them
