Things to Change

The following are parts of the game that just don't seem to work and how I think they should be fixed!

FAVOR: This is really beginning to annoy me. Us americans only have favor at night now. Europe always controls it at day. Some areas in the world never ever experiance fame! The favor system should be changed to make it more fair or nerfed all together.

Mod Salvaging: I'm sick of trying to salvage the mods of golds and getting a mod off of it that isn't even max when there is a max mod on the weapon. I keep salvaging the non max mods therefor I'm makeing no money off of golds. We should also be allowed to salvage mods off of sheilds and Focus items.

AoE NERF: IT didn't work. This hasn't nerfed many of the solo methods so why hasn't it been changed back. This didn't even slow down 55hp farming. Its now just a huge annoance that make almost ever AoE skill useless.

Accidentel Selling: I'm sick of accidently selling pieces of armor, golds, greens, mods, and other items by accident. Dont Feel No Pain had this idea. WE should be able to temporaraly lock items so they can't be sold.

P.S. These things I don't nessassaraly want nerfed, so if you have an idea to get around them without anet changeing the game please post it!

Fame and favor are two different things. The favor system in all of its glory (or lack thereof) is already being discussed in another thread, take your complaints there.

It's random. Bad luck there champ.

The AoE "nerf" did exactly what it was designed to do: make enemies run away from AoE damage. It didn't really have anything to do with 55 farming.

Put stuff in bags, uncheck bags. Voila.

Yes it did work...I dont see how it didnt. Monsters move out of AOE. That means it worked. (It just needs to be furthered to affect SoJ/SS...etc)

YOU CAN TEMP LOCK ITEMS...UNCLICK THE CHECKMARK ON THE BAG AT THE TOP. I dont see why no one understands this...just like no one understands the search on this board (The google one...which works better than the other one...)

Favour:Being able to go to FoW/UW.
Fame: You get fame in HA
Two different words, two different things.
choose what mods to salvage? I guess you wanna choose the drops you get from monsters too
For the AoE, its a realistic change, and MANY solo builds were ruined. I cant see enemies going OMGZ WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A METEOR SHOWER!!! WE BETTER STAY HERE!!1111
For accidental selling, dont be a lazyass and actually check what your trading.

lol, whats your problem? If you can't make a helpful post that isn't insulting, don't make reply to any of my threads.

AoE nerf: I guess if ruining almost every AoE skill in the game is working. Then I guess your right. Most AoE skills are NOT used anymore because the creatures run out of them and scatter.

Mod Salvageing: You should be able to choose the mod you are salvaging. When this game was made originally greens and golds were supposed to be 10k max. Stuff wasn't suposed to be so expensive.

Accidentle selling: omg, whats this about being lazy. I'm just saying this would be helpful. Everyone makes mistakes byt selling greens and golds every day. Its not like all your items fit evenly inside 1 bag. I'm not saying this needs to be done. I'm saying it would be helpful. how is this a bad idea?

Favor: Alot of areas don't get favor much anymore, and the US seems to only be getting it LATE at night. Japan never gets it lol.

First off the favor. Favor is EARNED pal. If you want favor, get your lazy 55 ass off the couch and help America win it back.

Mods. See in order to create this thing called "strategy" you have to have certain obstacles in the game. If we took away all levels of difficulty in the game, everyone except I guess you would get bored out of their mind and quit the game.

AoE: Well it slowed you down enough that you got the urge to come in here and complain about it. Once again you seem to be seeking out a game that plays itself for you.

Accidental selling: That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Like I keep saying, use your brain! Unless you can honestly tell me that your brain has the inability to stop clicking the mouse button over and over again until you stop hearing the *chaching* sound of gold, then don't complain because you made a mistake.

I honestly do not understand this level of human laziness. If you want a form of entertainment that does all the work for you, watch TV. This is not TV. Please do not come in here and complain that this is not TV.

Favour: Players who win in Halls have dedicated time to make tactics & builds to win there. So can you.

Mods: What's the point in luck then.

AoE: Where's the challenge if it's not there.

Accidental selling: Don't sell your stuff blindly at merchant & problem solved.

I mean: nerfing the only reliable aoedot in pve sounds pretty stupid.

Actually it's ture, if suffering VERY heavy damage from ss, NPCs will run away.

Get a group together and win halls, Favor will follow. Isn't that how it works?

just get 2 accounts like all my friends did one in US one in Europe,(a freind of mine got one in Taiwan too!) so no matter who control the hall, you can always farm

The rest i don't care about or don't see a problem with atm. Salvaging though is pissing me off, after losing 2 +30 axe mods to shitty materials and icy hafts and many more things too i wish i could f*cking choose what i wanted from it, i am salvaging it after all!

And wanted to stress that Gaile has said it's for realism, and making pve more realistic. This was not a farming targeted specific.

First of all. Weither you like my oppinion or not please don't insult me about it. Its ridiculus. Stop it please.

I don't want a game that plays itself. But the AoE nerf makes almost every damage per second useless in PvE. I'd rather them reduce the damage they deal than make creatures run out of it personally. Then it would deal the same amount of damage as if they would of ran out of it and back in AND they won't scatter.

Yes that is how it works. But it appears all of our good players are on at night(when I'm not on useually. And in the middle of the day all the players that aren't as good are on. Therefor we get it at night. It would make no differance if I made a group in the day because ALOT of people are ready do that and we don't win it anyway.(now that factions has come out favor is more random! So favor isn't as much as a problem anymore.

Losing Good mods really sucks. I've lost over tons of money in the game from not getting the good mods from salvageing. I always seem to get the non max mod. At least improve the odds of getting a good mod.

I'm not lazy, but I don't think I'll make a differance. AND I think I know its earned already. Also I don't play guildwars from a couch.

/notsigned, twice for both of my accounts.

1. Favor and fame aren't the same thing. Favor is working exactly as intended, get over it.

2. Random=Random. If everyone could pick, you'd make about the same amount off gold items either way, as there'd be more perfect mods. Thus lowering the demand.

3. It worked. Infact you saw solo UW drasticaly drop off after it happened, it made farming some areas slightly harder, as the 55s couldn't use Balthazars Aura as their only damage spell. It needs to be furthered to effect meteor shower/SoJ/SS. Besides, the entire idea behind it wasn't to totaly stop farming, it was to make the monster AI better.

4. You have two options, uncheck your bags, or simply keep an item like a quest item/holiday item infront of the stuff you don't want to sell(as in if you don't want to sell from belt pouch on put it in belt pouch 1 or backpack 20). Both work perfectly, and if done you'll never sell an item you really didn't want to.

Dude you aren't going to get this signed by anyone... Basically what you are saying to everyone is: Make it to where I can go farm FoW and UW all day long! and be RICH!

Make it to where I can get the perfect mod everytime: and be RICH!

Make it to where I can farm quicker with them not running from AoE: so I can be RICH FASTER (oooooooh)

Make it to where I am less Noob.... which was lost when you made all the first requests -_- Dude I don't wanna be spoon fed by the game and I don't think anyone else does either.... If ya want an easy game go get Lego Star Wars (its fun and ya can't really die!)

No one can give a damn good reason as to how it enhances gameplay beyond "we need to link PvE and PvP" and frankly it's not a good reason because I dislike PvPing, and some of the responses from PvP crowd in this forum are further proof why I'd rather not mix with such people.

AoE code needs to be worked out a little more, that's what I think. Less mindless running from a 2 dps Firestorm would be a good idea.

There's always room in life for a civil discourse. I'm surprised the mods here don't crack down on a lot of the posters more.
