Ranger Secondary

I don't see a lot of builds for this and I was wondering, is having Ranger as a secondary profession ever a good idea? I have a Mo/R that's about to go post searing and I'm concerned for the future of this character. Should I go with it or just start over with something else? Suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

as a Monk primary... your better off going /Me or /N for energy management imo... you can change your secondary class as many times as you want so it doesn't really matter

Yeah, I started off as Mo/R at first also. It turned out, once I ditched the pet, I never really used any ranger skills (altho now that I've played ranger too, I think Serpent's Quickness might be a good skill to use as monk). I ended up changing my secondary to mesmer, but I think if I stuck with Mo/R, I might have made something of it.

You've already put so much time into this character, just go with it and change later if you like.
