Factions Collectors Production stoped, is Pre-order?

i went to EB today to check if they had the pre-order in for the sect-hundreth time in the past month since i down paid for it, and they still hadn't got it in, then i asked if they didnt get it in by release can i upgrade to CE and they told me that Anet stopped production and they wont get any in at all.

so my questions are,
are they lying to me?
has they stopped production on pre-oreder?
why did CE stop production of CE so soon?

Ok, you didnt get your Preorder package from EB. Thats a common thing posted here.

EB Games (from my understanding through SEVERAL phone calls and emails when I was going through it) has the preorders has a mostly ONLINE exclusive through their stores. They told me that only LIMITED numbers if ANY would be sent to the physical stores.

They even suggested to me that if I wanted the preorder package, I would HAVE to close out my preorder at their storea nd transfer it online.

well the store originally recieved 4 out of 8 they wanted for the people that pre-ordered and ordered more, but never recieved any more. So at least the store i go to were expecting more, but has yet to recieve it.
now anyone know why if indeed they stopped CE?

i pre ordered my copy of factions too. but they told me that they didnt even have the ce in their computers and that their comps. were only showing that they were going to have regular version of factions. i want the ce so i am naturally pissed but oh well either way i am getting the game.

I also preordered my CE of Factions through EB games as well as my preorder. I received my preorder box a day after everyone else and the CE wasn't in their computers until a day or two after best buys and other stores. However, they still have me down for the CE and I see it may be delayed now but they said everything is still good on my CE preorder. I think your EB games stores just don't care about their customers needs.

No, it seems from all the threads on many forums, that YOUR EB is the only one that does care lol.

I first got a copy of preorder from EB back when it first came out, then I realized that I should get another one for my other account.
I went back to EB and they told me that they do not have anymore and that they are not sure if they are getting some.
The manager there then checked and was told that they are getting some during launch, I told him that its useless for the preorder to be there during launch since it gives 24 hours access before launch and this way it would be useless.
I think the actual retail boxed copies will be in stores before launch and even before the 27th of April.
They might come with preorders.

EDIT: as for CE, EB called me on Monday saying that the CE is in their system now and I reserved one.
I'm in Canada, so they should have the information in the US

Same my EbGames don't know anything about a CE, as for the pre-order I called many times, aggrivated some people, and until I called myself they said they had the collector edition. I learnt my lesson and may buy from Best Buy from now on, just used EbGames cause I had a b-day gift card.
