Realistic Guild Wars?

Im asking myself, how would people like it if guild wars was more realistic?
I mean that people die like really easily if they dont have armor and dont dodge attacks. It would add a lot of skill requirement, because you would have to time your skills, and be very careful about what armor you take, or what shield you use. A blinded person would be totaly useless, and attacking someone who just used lightning reflexes would leave you exposed to theyr damage whilst you could deal basically none. Then it would make tactical decisions more needed, because people would have to retreat more often, and they would have to plan theyr attacks and so on. But the enemy ai would have to be enchanced a bit to make them able to do stuff like retreat when needed, regroup, call for aid and stuff. And also it would just add a lot of feeling to run into a group of grawls and kill them all with a few slashes.
What do you guys think, would you like a realistic guild wars?

Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds a lot like the way the game is now.

I only sign this if pugs will be enhanced too. If better AI will be implemented on aggros, prepare yourself to be pwnd every 5 secs, because your team mates will be typing "???" and "Huh?" all the time

u know when u get bleeding i say if u take all your armour off you should have cuts and be bleeding rather than a red cloud around you

My my, someone is trying to get off there citizen title.
Right now Guild Wars, is the most realistic I seen than more than most fantasy games. Take off your armor and run into a titan it shows how real it is.
Only thing I wanna see done is, punching when no weapon is equipped.

So....my body should be green while i'm diseased or poisoned? cripple = no more leg? , blind = a white stick? dazed = headache emote? deep wound = a DEEP WOUND? weakness = "heavier" weapons?

If I hit you with a hammer and inflict deep wound, I expect to see it visibly in the victim. It's not satisfying if it's only a brown arrow in health bar. Conclusion: Character models should have decals in them, cuts and bruises and so on, which disappear when healed.

And after eviscerate the target's guts should hang out. Too much of this type of realism would need a more restictive rating on the game.

Back when GW first came out/was beta, monsters would actually bleed onto the ground.
...why did they get rid of that? Sure the game is for "Teens" but look at games for Ps2, PC, etc that are Teen, they all have blood in them. It'd be nice to see the blood return actually.

If Guildwars was more realistic there would be no magic and warriors would do 1 hit kills. Maybe some rangers would get in a shot or two but everyone would use platemail armor anyway.
In fact they'd only use swords because axes get stuck and you have to do a lot of work to get them out and hammers are too heavy to swing around for a long period of time.
Also when you die the game uninstalls and their servers block your IP so you can't come back to play again.

so how exatly would mesmer hex look like?.... lets say...Simathetic visage? all of a sudden you character becomes SUPER cute?...
or how about Backfire? only thing i can imagine is letterly a fire on your back thats waiting for you to cast.
and how about healing? you realise that to make 1 orison of healing, you would have to sit aside, take off armor, get the monk put bandaids on you, put armor back.... and with heal other? its gonna be same process but with STITCHES?... im happy it's such a fantasy world...

Yeah, after every rabbit kill, they have to lay in hospital for weeks, regenerating.
People would beg monks to join them, and even offer money.

Ehm this kind of got totaly away from what i meant it to be and i dont understand why you people are talking about this.
Quickmonty: the only time i experienced what i mean is when i got with my lvl20 warrior to ascalon and killed a gargoyle with 2 hits. never else in the game. in the game now when i go with my lvl20 hammermaster to kill a skeletron it takes about 10 hits or so, and if this game was made realistic he should be killed with 1-2 hits.
I dont want to have a system like that because i like it how it is now, i was just asking myself what people would think about something like it...

The level of the Gargoyle and the Skeleton has to be taken into account.

Yeah there are some realism issues with GW. Why don't you hit anybody close to you when you cyclone axe while blind? the world will never know.

well... you cant make only 1 part of the game realistic, if you go for it, all charactersr and not only the warior and the ranger have to fight/cast/heal in a realistic way... so how realistic is that you are bleeding, have a deep wound, are poisoned, and in general duying with your 20 out of 520 hp and -10 degenaration, and the monk points at you, does a gesture and youre a sgood as new... with a patient like this theres quite alot of work, and if you want realistic, the monk will have to spend at last 5-10 min healing you... well maby not in a hospital, but still. you just seem to want to make "fighters" realistic and leave monks and mesmers saving lifes by pointing fingers

I think more realism couldn't hurt.
Having a hammer kill something at about your level in 1-2 hits is, well, overkill. As people have already said, any weapon/skill can be potentially and instantaneously fatal in realistic terms.
So making Guild Wars realistic? No. But more realism? Sure. I would love to see blood splatter/actual pools of blood when bleeding. I like the idea of 'heavier' weapons when weakened. Green in the face with flies circling for diseased. Pale green body when poisoned. It's all just graphical changes, wouldn't affect gameplay in the least and would actually add something to the game, IMO.
Keep this in mind, we already have special animations for Crippled and when you have a runspeed buff/debuff on. My guess is it was to let you know that yes, you're moving slow for a reason, not because of lag. Whatever the reason, I like it and I think more gameplay animations like that would be great.
