I use to make runs to the old Lost Strongbox when it was in Dreadnought's Drift. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Lost Strongbox has been moved to a different location, or it has been completely removed from the game.

Gone, they removed it long ago.

I believe that, and the one in Ice Floe have been removed completely.

hmmm about the whole "gone from the game" thing, read the update again. It says they removed it from the area, not the game, so there very well could be a new one.

Realistically it is probably gone, just like chests that didn't require keys, and barrels too. They did say remove not relocated

It's gone. No more free chests, except the special quest ones in Fissure of Woe, Underworld, and Sorrow's Furnace.

actually while doing a w=quest the other day i found 2 like that in deldrimor bowl....crappy drops though

The ones in Deldimor Bowl go with a quest from beacon's Perch...something about Lost Soldiers, or something to that effect, I forget the exact quest title. Same with the ones in Piken, goes with a quest.
