I am having a lot of fun with a water hex/ Feast of Corruption, however, I don't think it's up to its full potential yet.
To be fair, one template is quite close to the idea:

Either use blurred vision, ice spikes or glyph + deep freeze to go with FoC for big fat damage (steal hp to). Might be wrong with the attributes since my ele didn't do the 15 attribute quest yet.

The core is really Glyph of Minor Energy/Deep Freeze/FoC.
Beside the core + Blurred Vision + Res Signet, 3 skills are up for discussion and, IMO, arguable. I am looking for either:
- a cover hex
- a cheap spammable while other stuff recharge
- additional snare
I have tried and looked at:
Rust (would be a nice fun cover... but recharge is long too long for being a cover)
Parasitic bond (typical cover)
Ice Spike/ Shard Storm: somehow I don't like them: too slow, not big enough. Deep Freeze or nothing
Price of Failure: good complement, but I feel like I already got a lot of warrior hate
Shadow of Fear: former favorite before area got reduced a bit
Rend Enchantement / Desecrate Enchantement: definitly... I just need to make room for them
Spinal Shivers: I don't know... The oddball in there.
Frozen Burst: which I like I guess it feels like trapping 
Ice Spear: which I don't like much... that close to fall of the skill bar...
FaintHeartedness: a classic. Am I packing too much warrior hate?
