i have a shocking fellblade of enchanting (req. 10)

enchantments last 19% longer

i need the enchantment mod on its own.. if i salvage it, will i get the lightning dmg mod or the enchantment mod?!!
please help, im in a dilema... i will trade the fellblade for a 20% enchantment pommel if anyone wants to, and maybe an ecto or 2..
please let me know about the salvage though !!!!

if u want to trade, pm me. let me know abt the salvage here!
thanks !

It's random. Some would argue and say that there's a greater chance of the suffix (I think) but nothing surpports that. Just use an expert or superior salvage kit on it and hope for the best.

The way I understand expert salvage kits, you could get one of four things...

1) The enchanting mod, able to be used on other blades.

2) The shocking mod, able to be used on other blades.

3) A piece or two of rare material, most likely steel.

4) A portion of common material, most likely iron.

I could be wrong, but it's been my experience that salvaging is totally random... otherwise I'd have a 10/10 sundering string instead of a grip of Charr Slaying.

I tried salvaging a hammer and axegrip +30hp a few days ago and got wood instead.

You could try going with the rumours...

1. Pat a monk on his head by using /goteam
2. Make sure you have favour and kneel before glint or some other thing or god
3. Give 500g to a random new guy for good karma
4. Do 3 different missions with full teams, die a few times etc... to shake off the antifarming code that may or may not exist
5. Use a superiour salvage kit even though it may be the same as an expert salvage kit.
6. Pray to your god
7. greet your flag
8. Salvage

Once you've done all that, please tell me if it worked so I can do the same with my 20% enchant I have on an axe =X

There's no 100% way to get that enchant mod.

If you have my luck, you'll get a few measly iron mcnuggets. But maybe, if the planets are perfectly aligned, you'll actually salvage what you wanted to.

well actually it isnt that bad. out the the 60ish times i salvaged something like 40 times i got what i want. so thats like what 2/3 odds. or maybe its just luck. my little ritual thing is to look away as i click to salvage. makes me pretty happy when i look back at the screen and see a +30hp sword pommel sitting there or something.

good luck with your salvage. its a pain in the neck when you get what you dont want.

My salvage rate for the good mod is about 10%, the unwanted mod about 40%, and 50% for craft items.

post it in the trade forum, or check the auction. There should be a couple echant mods in there.
