At the moment I run a R/Me in PvE however I do take part in PvP and when my guild gets a guild hall I'll probably be found on the GvG circuit.
For the time being, however, I am at Elona Reach in the Crystal Desert and I am seeking a R/Me build as I do not feel that my build is working to its full potential.
Please Note - I only have 170 out of the 200 attribute points at this point in time and yes I am level 20.
My previous build was :
Domination Magic - 10
Wilderness Survival - 7
Marksmanship - 12 (11 + Archer's Mask)
1. Charm Animal [for my pet bear (level 20)]
2. Backfire
3. Barbed Trap
4. Pin Down
5. Hunter's Shot
6. Storm Chaser
7. Troll
8. Res Signet/Empathy
With careful consideration I have modified this build and made it the following:
Domination Magic - 10
Wilderness Survival - 7
Marksmanship - 12 (11 + Archer's Mask)
1. Charm Animal [for my pet bear (level 20)]
2. Res Signet
3. Power Shot
4. Duel Shot
5. Apply Poison
6. Chaos Storm
7. Troll
8. Storm Chaser
My current long bow damage is 15-28 (no modifications)
Here is a pic of the above build:

I need to find a build that suits me and can do damage whilst stay alive and do well in general. Money is a problem at the moment as I am currently saving up for a guild hall for my guild.
Any suggestions in general would be helpful.
Please Note - I do not take credit for being the original person to start my previous build or my current one. I have modified my skills from several builds and I would like to thank Guild Wars Guru and the people who supplied the builds for the build's directory section. I repeat I do not take credit for the making of the builds.
Happy Posting

1 word: EXPERTISE
this attribute is always a must with a ranger primary.
as a ranger myself, i dont bother bringing along my pet. it opens up a skill slot.
you'd best do the 2 15 attribute point quests asap.
with expertise at a decent level (12 minimum) i'd swap out storm chaser and put in whirling defense (longer stance then storm chaser)
i'm not exactly sure what your build does exactly (or what you want to do). so i cant really comment more on it

You have absolutely no reason whatsoever for that bear. You don't even carry a bm disrupt skill, so why risk the 8 second skill disable? If you just carry your pets for cosmetic reasons, don't use them for ascension.

question. At the moment I want to keep my bear. However, If I unequip Charm Animal then I won't have my bear anymore. However, If I re-equip Charm Animal will my bear come back?

Yes it will.
