I need a place where I can test my swords, axes, etc. Preferrably with monsters of the same type, ar, etc. Easily killable.

Isle of the Nameless. Has dummies with different armor levels, perfect for testing.

great advice... didnt think of that.

But how are those barrels relating to elemental damages? Like if i have a fiery, ebon, or icy sword??

try using Conjure Flame, Frost, and Lightning. If you do more damage with one of those in effect then that sword is of that elemental type.

Doesn't help as far as Ebon goes though.

Fortitude and Vamp are easily tested. Wild Blow is your friend for all weapon test. for hexed, you go over to the torch and see if you have a different damage output. :P fun, but hard to find the damage mods. You need a clean axe to test damage mods too.
