It's funny because I have antlers and santa hats for my characters... i hardly ever wear them and certainly don't when i'm on a mission of any importance. I'm sure I'll get suckered in because I just can't help myself but the fact of the matter is it's just another inventory space gone.. and there is few to begin with... especially if you're a pack rat like me.
And actually on manage account it does show something for some people which is also confusing. Like for me it show early access.. but other people had taken screenshots of their and it doesn't say that... so i know i'm good to go but worry about some others that apparently entered the preorder code.

I pre ordered at the EB in Belconnen, where I was assured they would ring me about when ready, but they never did!
I went there today and the shop assistant was like ...... retarded, after many questions finally the manager came out and explained to me that the CE was delayed and I should be able to get it in two weeks. When I asked about the pre order keys he said they have none, but that my CE will cost me $10 less for the inconvenience. Pft like I care!
Tomorrow is a pubblic holiday here in Australia, but Wednesday I'll be going to EB in Civic and get a pre order for the standard game, hoping they still have some available!

personally I could care less about getting another useless peice of junk to clog up storage with ( used up everything but candy canes and a CC bow.. all the halloween stuff was used quickly in missions .. that was actually more fun than gettin it " wth was that? a ghost?"

I get home at 5. sometiems have to do other stuff, then only get to play from like 6-11 most days.

well, people said that I was sad to book a day off work for the pre-order.. now im sure I will be up for most of those 24 hours!... I am going to be collecting as many of these Fangs for my guildies so when they come back home from school or work they will already have fangs to get their masks (Im such a lovable leader)

The monestary place is the market place, the starting position for level 20 characters.. thats if its the same as the FPE.
Im guessing the mission will simply be to go an kill this Naga boss and his minions somewhere near there in neutral territory, these naga will drop Fangs at a rate probably similar to the drop of charr carvings or anyother collectors item.
again these are just guesses and may not be correct.

The CompUSA link doesnt even take you straight to the Factions product and says it ships May 1st.
And the EBgames link doesn't work for me, says cookies are not enabled, but typing in www.ebgames.com works.

I have to side with a.net on this one. As far as we know they delivered on their part so the rants here should be going to the retailers. I ordered my prerelease from amazon and got it in 3 days. Granted I live in America and understand that international orders will have their own set of problems.
The downside to this is that I will not get my retail disc until Tuesday May 02. This is not due to a fault of a.net. Why? Because the game will not be released until Friday Apr 28.

Are you sure that levels 20 could take these tengu's quests? I have read nowhere that these quests would be available for levels 20, just they are available in tutorial area and NO, the tutorial area is not the marketplace. So how levels 20 from prophecies could access to the these quests???

Shing Jea Monastery, is the Market Place.. well, im pretty sure thats what gaile said... and the Market Place is where your level 20 characters from Tyria will start.
I suppose I should check my facts on this though...

-lvl20s can interact with newly made canthan characs?
-can they interact with the training grounds area?
-will there be separate ways to get Naga fangs/ event quests? (for example, lvl1s can get naga fangs in the training grounds. while lvl20s get their event quests in the town after they take the boat ride to Cantha...)

okay.. first thing..
you have to have "sufficient number of Naga Fangs".. where as the reward for completing the series of quests is ONE fang!
This means you will have to do the quest several times, if it was tutorial area only, then you wouldnt be able to re-visit!
Also, I take this to mean that only at certain times will you be able to get your Fangs Converted into Masks!...
The actual quests themselves you have to do BEFOREHAND!....
As its a place where EVERYONE has to re-visit, im fairly certain they wont be just "tutorial area"
Guys, its a 24 hour event, they really arnt going to make it that hard for you to get these items!... if its anything like other events 'haloween day' for example, the Mad King appeard every 3 hours.. giving you 3 hours to complete those quests.. more than enough time

1. Accounts are not tied to a comptuer
2. To access the headstart you only need an account with the preorder key added.
So, it should be possible to download GW on any computer, access your account, add a preorder key (if you haven't already), play in the headstart and then when you get home you'll still have the chars because it's your account.

ok so here is what is up ALL you gamers...
I tried reading all these posts, i got to the 4th page...and i just HAD to quit. there is SO MUCH complaining amongst all the excitement of this T. Mask. some how, it seems so simple, get to a EB games store or GameStop and ask to put money down for the game, they should just had you the pre-order box, its purple and slim, and in my case, no questions were asked, they just gave me the box and i wasnt even sure what it was..... maybe im just forturnate because i live in US :-D but im set to go and im not going to waste peoples time reading this forum and reading complaint after complaint about how it sucks because they order ONLINE???!?!?! good grief, walk ur happy behind to the store and do it in person, you kind of asked for delay when you decided that waiting for UPS to deliever was gunna take their sweet time.... please stop complaining and keep the FORUM possitive in looking forward to this pre-event!
