This event will be open to those who already have enabled a Factions Pre-order access key, and those who do so before the planned end of the Head Start Event (11:59 p.m. PDT on April 28th or 6:59 GMT on April 29th). The Extended Head Start Event will pick up where the initial event ends, and will run for an additional three days. What exactly is the Special Extended Head Start Event ? At first, I thought the Day of the Tengu was being extended, but on second glance it looks to be something different. What is it exactly?

Excellent news!

I pre-orderd my game online and because of the postal service (upcoming weekend + May Day holiday = NO postal service), predicted that my game will arrive in the post at the earliest on May 2.

The difference is between purchasing a Pre-Order Kit and preordering the game. The retailer should have sent/given you a Pre-Order Kit when you preordered the game, but not all retailers understand the whole Pre-Order Kit thing.

I picked up a Pre-Order Kit for $10 at Best Buy the day they were available. I take the receipt back tomorrow when I go to pick up the game and get the $10 previously paid applied to the retail release. So the Pre-Order Kit is essentially free. And the retailer should have made sure you got one before today. It's a problem with the retailer, not ANet.

So, is Anet doing a good thing an extending the pre-order event so that those whose pre-orders arrive late will get in on it? My pre-order didnt arrive today, but hopefully it will friday, since I paid for express shipping, if it does, does the extended head start mean I can get tengu masks? If so, YAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! If not, I might go stark raving mad.
