I was just wondering if anyone had run across any additional links between Cantha and Tyria, either from the FPE or over the course of Factions, not including the recent Luxon and Kurzick quests in Kryta. I thought it might be interesting to start compiling them.
Of course, there's the Canthan Targe, the Prophecies preorder shield on the Best Buy side. And then there is this guy in the Kurzick regions near Fort Aspenwood:
(you might recognize him from Sorrow's Furnace)
(note to A.net: there's a spelling error in his quest blurb)
Anyone notice anything else?

Well there is the talk that an NPC in factions will sell HoD swords or something quite similar.

Ok interesting "Other side of the world"
so the Tyrian continent and Cantha continent are directly at opposite of each other in terms of geographical location.
Hmm, since they already said C3 will introduce yet another new continent...
I can imagine that the planet/world/globe of Tyria (planet) is huge, bigger than Planet Earth
Though, from the Tyrian Continent perspective and Canthan perspective, they're South and North of each other respectively. That means there is a huge body of water or another continent between Cantha and Tyria if you travel northwards from Tyria and Southwards from Cantha.

Kurzick bastards, even worse than the Stone Summit...
Eh hem. Yeah I think AreaNet will incorporate lots of connections, because it makes the game more interesting when you can piece together both storylines. That's my opinion anyways.

The dredge thing was already discussed in the lore forum -

Good idea for a thread, though.
Obviously, Tyria and Cantha trade, evidenced by the Xunlai. Jiaju Tai, in Lion's Arch, gives some information on this. Then of course there are the recent Kurzick and Luxon Settlements.
Also, the Guild Hall islands (or where the Guild hall used to be before it moved to the Battle Isles) are apparently owned by Cantha, according to NPCs. The Sigil Trader, Canthan Ambassador and Canthan Ferry Captain show this. This is weird, because they are so far away from Cantha which, according to information given, seems to be a long way south over the sea from Tyria.
I'm not sure if this thread belongs in the lore forum or not, I'll let someone else decide that.
