Dye Schemes on Weapons.

This is a question essentially aimed at colour schemes on Rams Hammers, Giant Slayer Hammers, and Magmas Arms. They have, imo, the best skin for Hammers. That however, is not the discussion. I want to know what dyes go best on that skin.

You can also post screenshots of any of Dyes on weapons. The only colour chart i have seen for for any weapon is the Chaos Axe, and that is becuase it dyes in opposite colours. A lot of people dont bother changing the colour of their weapon, perhaps in part becuase the change is often very small, or in some cases non-existant. As a result experimentaton with dye colours on weapons is really very small.

So, share your experience on Dyes on Weapons. Which work, which dont, what looks whack, what looks A+. What Parts of the Weapon are changed by changing the colour.

For Rams Hammers (and i assume skins like it) The Hammer grip is changed, and the details on the Rams Head (specifically under the eyes of the Ram) are changed for colour. I have only used Dye Remover (no effect) and Purple Dye on it so far, as i dont want to waste precious dyes, so if anybody else can tell me what colouring it black or silver looks like i would be grateful.

I have a green and black one too - the black just looks greyish. And for some reason you can't dye a hand axe red.

cheers for that, thats the kinda info somebody might need. there arnt much Weapon skins in GW, at least not until factions, so i think changing weapon colour is important to make them individual.

Here's a Rams Hammer dyed yellow. Turns it a funky green but at least you can see the color change.

Rams Purple

Rams Blue

Rams Green

Rams Orange

Rams Red is the same as its base colour, so no change. I dont want to waste black dye on this hammer yet, so if somebody has coloured theres black or silver, pls put a screenie up

Purple's not too bad... of course I have a preference for purple anyway. lol
