i got mine from GAMESTOP same as last year.the preorder arrived as soon as it was available.
i have received confirmation that my CE (with 2nd day) has been shipped and should be here monday

You will get your Retail key on or about the 28th. However, they should have also given you another package on the spot, and that would have your PreOrder key in it, and it does not matter if you got CE or Regular. I got the regular version as well, and I got the preorder package, which came with a CD, and a booklet with various codes in it, and one of those codes was for the preorder.
If you didn't get that package, go back to the store you preordered from and let them know.

Hmm there's one thing I noticed with all these.
People are confused between a "preorder BOX" and a "pre-order OF".
There's a preorder box, that's what you need to play head-start, the Cd-Key in the preorder box, not pre-order of the retail package.
Hmm ANet needs to change the 'preorder' to something else :/

I dunno, Laibeus, when I did a preorder of Factions, I was imediatly handed a preorder box. Anyone who preorders Factions *should* get the box.
