Its not an original idea, for such thing has been suggested before by many other. But I will put up my version/vision of it.
A Stats Window/Menu is much like the Friend or Hero menu, accessible by hot key or by the menu selection. It will display the more “interesting” player stats of his play experience. It would be separate by tabs for easier access to different group of stats.
Some ideas of what would go in there.
General Stats:
Time: Total time played
Death: How many time you die
Mob Kill: how many mob you killed.
Boss Mob Kill: how many boss mob you killed.
Player Kill: how many player you killed. (PKs)
Mission Progress: Where you are in the main story line.
Game Flow: check to see hows the flow of the game (if you enter a town that you are not suppose to be in (check by your lv and mission finish), you will get a RUNNER sign)
Exploration %: How much of exploration you uncover.
Item Unlock %: How much mods/runes you unlock so far.
Number of Skills: How many skills you have.
Number of Elites: How many total Elites you have.
Time of changing 2ndary:
Favorite Profession combo: see what prof combo you use the longest.
Favorite Armor:
Favorite Weapon:
Max Damage done to a target:
Max Damage done to group:
Max Damage Received:
Max Heal:
Consecutive Arena Win:
Consecutive Mob Kill:
Consecutive Player Kill:
… (etc)
Bio:
A window for you to write down a personal Bio about your self or your character. (be sure to keep it under rating)
Badges and Titles:
It would be place for you to manage your titles. To toggle what to show and not show. To see or not see other’s title. Etc.
Badges would be a new thing to add. Badges are earn by doing something, from something of very difficult, to something trivial. (will be graded by Gold, Silver, and Bronze) Much like the title, it is just another way to reward player for doing something unique. Badges is not shown, and should be a lot of ways to earn different ones. Also when you click/select a badge you earn in your window, should include a picture and a paragraph of description that would tell you much more about its lore, or just give an explanation.
Some examples…
You saw that giant Crystal on sear-Ascalon. As you go near it, you will earn a Bronze badge of “Giant Fallen Crystal Explored”. (you can later select it, and it will tell you more back story about it)
You finish the whole missions in under 24 hours. You will earn a Gold badge of “Speed Hero”.
You finish Thunderhead Keep with out anyone dying. You earn a Gold badge of “True Defender of Thunderhead Keep”
You killed 300 Charrs. You earn a bronze badge of “Charr Slayer”.
You killed 1000 Charrs. You earn a silver badge of “Supreme Charr Slayer”
You win 5 Consecutive rounds in Arena, and did not die at all. You earn a sliver badge of “Un-fallen Champion”
- Also there will be a Badge Number count that track how many badges you have.
As you can see, there would be many many badges that you can earn. It adds on more “surprises” to the game, keeping player interested, as well as another way to introduce lore, and to barrage about your achievements. And would provide additional talk topic in game, or on forum. That would be the advantage I see with Badges.
Also there should be a way for other to look at your stat menu, should they choose. (something that would be kinda like trade button)
That’s what I have for now… feel free to add in what you think about it, and what else would be good to go in such Menu.
(and if such idea does get added into the game.... can I get a free game for it?

Adding soem notes on the badges...
- the name "Badges" were use so to get a easier picture of what it is (from other game). But I would perfer call them "Annals", or "Annals Marker".
- Should have options to sort them by "rank" or by "Time". With sort by time, you get a chronological history of the special acheivements you did in your progression. (also would be nice to add a date... or a in-game Tyria Date)
- Again, such thing is to track two things... Lores, and special achievements. Since they are easier attendable compare to Titles, they give a easier goal...as well as add on to more surprises and freshness.
- There were some debats about if such thing will create more discrimnations. I still say it won't be that far off from Titles. With that many badges, even if shown, not everyone is going to check it when use in LFG situation.
