I was going to Ranik with my new ele the other day and when i entered Regent Valley, i followed that tar river thing south and i got to the point when the river starts heading SE and i stopped at the river and saw something weird.( i went back, its the first place you acctually get right next to the river enough to get in it ) There were 2 fiery lines in the river, just moving around, but never raising above the surface. I was thinking these were maybe a new creature, or part of a quest i never finished. Any1 seen these before, and know what they are?

No i cant post screen shots, i dont really know how to.

It's probably just the light reflecting off the tars or something. If the pics provided above is what you saw, then it's just the tar.

Ya, flames are just one of the normal effects on tar in Guild Wars. You can see that all over the place, although I must admit that in the above screenshot they kinda look liek the aliens from Invasion.
