Looking for advice on ele/monk builds "New Player"

These builds im planing to lvl in pve for pvp and gvg im new to the game so be easy...

Im going to make two different elementist and lvl them

Air Magic ele/monk

Lighting Strike
Lignting Orb
Gale
Blinding Flash
Condition Removal or Windborne Speed?
Heal Party
Ether Prodigy {E}
Resurection Signet

Water Magic ele/monk

Shard Storm
Ice Spikes
Deep Freeze
Blurred Vision
Conditon Removal or Armor of Mist or Rust?
Heal Party
Ether Prodigy {E}
Resurection Signet


questions(WARNING may be "noobish" )

Do all starting out elementist start with fire magic?
The type of magic I want I put those attribute points in them?
Any good pvp/gvg guilds looking fornew recuirts?

first off, ditch teh healing spells. if u want to use monk skills, be a monk. secondary monks dun have divine favor, limiting the usefulness of the heals. also, ditch sig, seein as it has a one time use, if u want a rez spell, then use a rez spell, not a sig. finally,u may want to change some of the elites, eg, fo water, i highly suggest using water trident. 5 energy, no exhaustion, low recharge, AND causes knockdown if target is movine, very helpful.

Who needs two characters? You can change builds.

And Water Trident sux. Elementalists are useless in PvP without energy management elites. (None of the very few good PvE elementalist builds that don't use energy management elites happen to work in PvP.)

Heal Party is not a bad idea at all. I sometimes run 59 point heals in PvE builds. Except -- it's better for teams of 8 than teams of 4.

*NOTE* This is a PvP build therefore I must choose PvP powers
