A/E conjure

not really a full thought out build but i used this is the BWE and it worked really well.
throwing conjure frost on your daggers, cast a water hex on the enemy, shadowstep to enemy, hit with the dagger attack that criples, full fledged wipe out in a few seconds wiht repeated dagger blows wiht the conjure frost.
Since the daggers attack the fastest of all weapons, and u have 2 of them the conjure frost would just rack up dmg really fast.
worked really well for me. i dont know if this has already been posted but i found it fun to play

Assassin's daggers rely on the dagger attack skills for its damage. Normal attacks don't do enough damage.
Adding frost or any other elemental damage to your daggers require you to be using daggers that's doing elemental damage. You'll do less or equal damage as standard assassin to 60AL, and little to no damage to warriors and rangers.
P.S.: Shielding hand can block all the damage.

Blade, think before thou speaketh.
Conjure Daggers can work with the Double Strike chance with daggers, making it arguably the second-best base for dealing Conjure damage (the best, of course, being Barrage). Though I don't think it's the best route to go, you're acting like it's as bad as trying to be a party healer with a Warrior primary.

The alternative in the same vein is Strength of Honor, through the Monk's Smiting line. The advantage here is that you don't need to use elemental damage daggers, you're not stuck with a 60s recharge enchantment, and it's armor ignoring damage. At 10 Smiting Prayers, you do +7, and you can stack that with Vampiric Daggers for a total of +10 armor ignoring damage. While you do lose a pip of energy for maintaining the enchantment, Assassins have the means to make up for it with Critical Strikes. This also lets you use some nice spells like Smite Hex (60 armor ignoring aoe damage at 10 Smiting), and a few no-attrib monk spells.
edit: it's true, Blade was making it sound like the OP would do less damage by using Conjures...

Oh, I do think A/Mo is a better way to go, but I just wanted to say that Conjure wasn't as useless as Blade was making it out to be. Smiting is a highly undervalued line that Assassins can use to the hilt without the primary Monk "U GOTA HEEL!!!11!1shiftone" onus.
We're gonna see some vicious A/Mo smiterss, I bet

A/Mo smite does look to be superior, especially comboing the "while hexed" assassin skills with scourge healing to put severe pressure on heal monks. Its a shame that boon prots get around scourge healing, but the scourge healing is still going to be amazing vs heal party spam that everyone loves to bring into 12v12 alliance battles.
Also, using SoH lets you run zealous daggers, as well as judge's insight for being able to at least try to kill warriors. Otherwise assassins are pretty much stuck with "caltrops/crippling daggers and run" and blinding powder. Seriously... warriors own assassins very, very, very badly. Between being able to ignore dagger autoattack and having a non-kiting soft target to wail on, its very much a strategic superiority when a warrior based group fights assassin based groups.
Speaking from experience from the both sides, assassins are going to need to make big adjustments in playstyle and build setup to be effective in heavy warrior situations. I've both played an assassin being unable to kill a warrior through his healsig, and healsig + shadow refuged against 2 assassins and a snarer and getting kills on the assassin.

Daggers have the same base attack speed as swords and axes. They get in more hits with double strikes, but a warrior can use Frenzy to match that, and an A/E has no IAS option. So you don't really gain anything over a W/E, conjurewise.
And having two of them, as you put it, doesn't mean you get more conjure hits. The dagger pair is one weapon with the same base attack speed as one sword or one axe.

Conjure's damage is a seperate damage source. Strength of Honor adds to your normal damage as a single damage source, which makes it better.

For an assassin to kill warriors, they really need only 3 skills.
Temple Strike {E}, Blinding Power, Siphon Speed
with high stats, the warriors can't do anything pretty much and the assassin can unload using any armor ignoring skill in their arsenal, which is more than I can say for a warrior.
But the game isn't about this vs. that class so it's pointless...

We could go out of character for a 2ndary+attack speed...A/W A/R etc. and have a monk cast a level 16 (ohhh what the hell 18) strength of honor on him. This would give a theoretical +12 damage add judge's insight and through on SoJ so he won't be picked off by enamy warriors and...

I'm tryin to put a monk thru tyria right now, and the sooner assns realize their armor isnt high enough to be "tanks", the better. I swear these skinny guys are worse at aggroing large groups than warriors ever were. Ok, maybe not ever. At least the warriors dont lose 1/2 of their health in 1 hit.
