Hi there,
I have some questions about the luxon and kurzick faction points you can get. Can you only get them through quests and pvp? Are the quests repeatable? Consider the following situation: I do a lot of quests which give me faction points for Kurzicks, afterwards I switch to Luxon but then I want to go back to Kurzick. Can I do the Kurzick quests again which I did earlier? If not how do I gain more Kurzick points? Can I only get them through pvp?

Hmm, I'd like to know if you can even switch back and forth on the factions, which I highly doubt.

You can - from what I've heard (interviews & experiences from FPE) a lot of (if not all) the faction-quests are repeatable.
This means you can switch back from faction at will - although it'll take some time to work of your negative credit ;o

The quests i believe are not repeatable for the same character, its the pvp missions that are repeatable for faction every time
you can "switch" between luxon and kurzick easily, by switch meaning gaining more faction for one side than the other so the npcs'll talk to you
just lower the faction you dont want buy using it at npcs, or at guild hall npcs, and raising the other side faction higher (if its still not higher) by doing an alliance battle or something

how come i keep losing faction points.....someone said it might be because i lost in a faction battle or something but i aint entered any! ive lost 3000 faction points so far and done nothing i.e. trade them in, sell them etc. when i allied with the luxons i gained 10,000 points but over the last few days these have slowly dropped to 7000....ive looked every where but cant find out why...

If you have faction in both sides and you exchange the faction for amber/jadeite you will lose faction from the opposing side.
Make sure that faction with one side is fully spent before dealing with the other side.

I am losing factions as well. It says I have redeemed 4069 factions of 7500 earned. How does this work? 4069????? They take 1000 when you trade for amber or jade, thats ok, but the 69 I don't understand.(I'm not in an Allience)

The answer is yes, there is a "penalty" for unused faction points. I have heard it is 10% a day....and IMO this is just WRONG!

But why do you lose 10% of your alliance faction, is this some way to slow down faction farming alliance's or something
