Basic Farming Questions
Synthetic
Hey there, I am not very experienced with the PvE side of GW since I spend most of my time in PvP. I am pretty broke and I would like to get my warrior PvP ready. So I need a lot of money. I was wondering where good places to farm for gold/weapons are. Also, what is a DNKP run and what are the titan quests?
$hade.
Well me and another guildie farmed some Gypsie Ettins near the Ascalon Settlement in Kryta. I got one gold staff, 1 gold rune, 2 minor runes and I think 2 Major. I got them after like 5 times of rezoning. It's an ok spot to farm.

For cash tomb runs are nice since you have a decent chance of getting bulwark which sells pretty well still, nowhere near what it once did but it's an easy way to make money. Ettins are good, UW is still good for chests as well as Tombs and FoW for chests. There are other places but you'll have to look around for those. I don't share my farming spots. Suffice it to say though there are places where you can make a killing with the right builds that haven't been exploited all to hell.

To farm you will probably need a 55 necro or 55 monk As to place I would suggest you practice in the Crystal Desert until you get good and then move to the trolls in Droks. When you get the hang of that you could go into the UW or FoW to farm.
DNKP is a titan quest. You get the titan quests from Glint after you finish the last mission. Titan quests are the hardest in the game.

Not that I condone this, but many people have gambled and gotten rich off of doing "chest runs" in high level places such as Fissure, Tasca's Demise, and Hell's Precipice. I wouldn't suggest it, since it is a risky gamble especially as the keys are expensive. But the chance is definitely there.
One thing I would suggest is soloing certain spots in the Fissure of Woe with a Warrior. As long as you know which enemies to avoid, and know how to keep yourself alive while doing damage, it isn't that difficult. I usually come off with 1 or 2 Obsidian Shards, 4-5k after ID'ing and selling junk to the merchant, and a total profit of around 10-12k per completed run.

Oh another way to make a quick buck is pick up all the crap bows and such throughout the game and salvage them for wood then turn the wood into parchment and sell the parchment. It's a 160% return on investment.
