I have noticed that many people keep on putting up perfect mods and weapons and such, but some people have 100's of perfect weapons!!! I'm not accusing anyone of cheats... but HOW do they get all that? (the first thing that pops into my mind is ebay... )

Are FoW runners really that usefull???

This also makes me feel lik ethe people who waste such a long time playing this game and farming are being rewarded for it, not for skill or other things...

(I have played this since... a week after it first came out, and have never once gotten a perfect anything! only luck i got was he HoD Sword...)

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

55hp monking possibly. You can make about 600k from ectos in a week if your hardcore. Don't be fooled by what people tell you though - exaggeration happens and there will be wammos that tell you they have 10 perfect fellblades.

luck and law of averages. That's your answer in a nutshell. If you do enough runs then odds are you will get something good. If you continue to do runs then you will accumulate a lot of stuff. Now this probably has nothing to do with math, in fact I know it doesn't, but it also seems to me that when I farm for one specific thing I never get it but I get everything else under the sun instead.

And of course the people who do the runs get rewarded. It's not like the drops can be based on something as subjective as skill. The drops are what they are, nothing more nothing less. you get rewarded for playing through regularly too just maybe not in the way you would like. This too has less to do with the way the game is then with your perception of it.

Best chance for perfect mods are chests. You just have to get lucky with them though. Even if you don't get a perfect mod, you'll eventually get something that can be pawned off for a decent amount of loot.

If you see one person in a sell district spamming lots of good items it's most likely because he/she is doing the work for more than just his/her own lot. Sweatshop farmers probably give off any of their good drops to their allocated "sellers" (who promptly add it to their LA d1 trade spam queue), and then return to farming. Ever wonder why you see the same people in the big sell districts selling the same overpriced, undesirable items for days on end, for hours at a time? Somebody not getting paid to sell off that water magic +1 (20%) wrapping for 35k probably would've gotten bored after 20 minutes of trying to sell it, let alone one whole week like you usually see some items being spammed for.

There are most likely guilds who do similar activities as well (because it makes sense to do so). Designate specific people as farmers and sellers, and split the profits/necessities accordingly while each person does their set tasks.

No such thing as a "perfect" weapon. It depends on your personal preferance. I, myself, think zealous is perfect.. and vampiric coming up close.

I have several very nice gold/purple bows and staffs and swords from my troll farming outside in talus (yeah, who'd have thought). I've gotten myself around 10 good weps from there, all of them I still use, some of which i've salvaged and combined. Meh.

I look at it like this:

I have a 5% chance of getting a gold drop on a high level run.

I have a 5% chance of that gold being good.

Now in theory I can hit both 5% every time. Is it likely? No. But that doesn't mean some people don't do just that.

Also I'm sure those %'s aren't right just my reasoning.

Quite Vulgar [FUN]

Farming shops that run bots and have 30-100 computers farming can pull in a vast number of perfect weapons in little time.

Transfer them to another account via multiple accounts and sell them in game. They use their vast amount of gold to cover up the trades.
