I normally go to underworld with my 55 monk. Quite fun time, always. Until the other day.....
I just sit in ToA and called like this:"55 SB monk LF SS/SV 50/50 split ecto".
A necro was also looking for a 55 monk said:"SS/SV LF an english speaking 55 monk".
Okay, he added me and said:"Do you speak english?" I answered:"Yes". He said then: "i will pay you 500G when we are in and i see your SB". I feel okay with it and paid. We were inside, things went on quite well. First ecto dropped, i offered a "gratz". No answer. Then later on, second ecto dropped. I waited for a while. He seemed no response about that and i asked:"is that mine?" He said:"NO." "But 50/50, right?" He said "NO".
Then i said:"it is teamwork. I will leave if you don't change, dont want to waste time." He said:"NO". Then i left. It was 7am in the morning and america just lost favor. Accidentally, i and that necro were in the same dis after i quit. Guess what did he pm:
"Haha, now you don't your chance to get ecto".

Won't point out full name. Just indicate 55 monks or SS should be aware about it. Ask your parnter about the 50/50 split clearly and go inside.
2 people UW pay attention to the teamwork. a good run should be finished by both the monk and the necro. In addition, both ppl should have the right to share with ectos.
At the moment, i even share 3k with my partner if only 1 ecto drops. and i believe that is the way to do.

However, when you play with some other ppl. If you want to have a good team and want to find an english speaking partner for UW, please respect to your parnter and his job.
Don't do the things like this necro do. When you complain about the non-english speakers and bots, etc.
Be an english speaking player that you should be!
Otherwise, solo UW!

That's a pretty cheap thing to do, not give an ecto. But still, he didn't say he was gonna 50/50 it. My guild is full of 55HP's and SS/SV's so I never have any problems. You should try and get people you know well to come with you on UW trips. If you been with someone before and they're fair and all, add them to your list and maybe if you see them on again ask them if they want to go on a trip. Works better than sitting at ToA, then joining a group of another person you will be scammed by.

Preferably, don't PUG Uw... alot of random monks and necros don't know what they're doing very well. Better to go with someone you know, for quality and ectoshare assurance.

Only reason is i am in australia. Euro has favor most time while i am sleeping. Which is very "lucky" for me, i guess.
Have to try couple of ppls and get some friends. At the moment, i kind of settle down with some friends most time.
I just feel it is really fair enough to split the ecto. Because 2 ppl UW is really a teamwork.
So just be a man and split the drops.

at the start of the run... get him to agree to splitting ecto 50/50... after he agrees take a screenshot and you can send in a scam report if he doesn't live up to the agreement... then it's up to ANeT to decide punishment if any

I never split....too many unsavory people out there to make it worth trusting somebody. Drops are pure luck anyways...do enough runs and you'll come out even with just about anyone you pair with

As true as this is, it's not ethical, lets say you and a friend were to do the same job but split the work 50 50, say hes the one that said i'll split it 50 50, and then you end up doing the job then expecting your payment, and next thing you know hes like " NO NO" its pretty much the same as fiffty-fiffty 55/ss UW runs, the necro does the damage while you just stay working on the monking, which is what you do best, then you spend an hour at most doing a run just to realize that you wasted it to get 3 ghostly staves and a phantom residue and lets say he gets lucky and gets 4 ectos, of course you'll want that but you can't because you didn't agree to 50/50 or you had a jerk who at first did agree and then didn't do it, i know the whole not agreeing isn't as bad, but still you still feel left out... so if this makes an sense just think what i said over

I do 99% of my runs with guildies...It is an unspoken rule that ectos are 50/50. All othere drops are fair game. Damn i am kiinda drunk so i am imparids. and for that i feeel likew a noob. But aside from guild related... I have had nothing but BAD experiences with non-guild ss/sv's. (I apologize for drunken

I am in no way trying to put down the "good" SS/SV's that are out there. I ss/sv as well and i know the number is crap 55's is probably=to the # of crap ss/sv's out there.

My friend and I did lotsa runs together a few months back, the only time we'd 'split' ecto was when I'd get 9 straight with him getting 0, then I'd give him 1 or 2... and vice versa. And in the end, when we finally stopped going down there together, the difference in ecto totals was about 3.
Now I go with euro people on my 2nd account, if they wanna split, that's cool, if not, equally cool. I don't really care.

i personally avoid 50/50 due to its real meaning with most monks, 100% of my ectos and 50% of the necros

God why do people do 50/50 ecto split, I find that really annoying. Everytime I do UW I just let the game decide who gets the ectos, and in the long run everything will even out anyway.
Also, in team efforts such as this, I always go with a guildy or people I know. I have never gone with a random person to UW before, since you never know how trust worthy they are and more how skilled they are.

I have never really understood why people even want to 50/50, unless you are so excited by the prospect of being in UW that you want to make sure to keep a souvenir.

Lmao, earlier today, kid kept talking about "pro" monks and all for UW, and i thought i was doing pretty damn well, as I accidentally aggroed 3 coldfires and 4 smites at the same time, and survived to tell the tale. Then, as soon as the first ecto drops, he's like "Bye noob" picks it up and leaves... I'm sitting there laughing to myself, cuz i already made back the entrance fee in gold, and i just play for fun. So i msg him, and he's like, "You're a noob monk, you need to aggro more at once." If he wanted me to aggro more, he should have just said so. Anyways, some people take this game WAYYYYY too seriously.
BTW he was echoing sv, which most "pro" ss/svers don't do, but that's a different story. Even though he's like, "i'm pro, i've got a pro 55 monk too..." Whatever, i'm starting to rant. lol.
