Suggestion for Elite Skill "Heal as One"

I think this skill should rez your animal if it is dead like comfort animal does. I have no incentive to bring this skill as a pet healing skill if it does nothing for my dead pet, because then I would need comfort animal to revive it. Putting in this minor feature might make this skill worth using in my opinion.

{E} Heal As One (Attribute: Beast Mastery)
If you or your animal companion are below 75% Health, you both gain 25..121..153 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:12

With Heal as One you can ditch Troll Unguent though.

Though Troll Unguent is unconditional and you can use it to top off your health where as Heal as One you need to wait to be healed. I'm waiting to see the other Pet Elites they made.

Nobody uses Troll Unguent with a pet anyway (Beast mastery, Expertise, wilderness survival? Unlikely trio.) The problems with this skill that I can see are:

If you are giving up Ferocious Strike you are giving up the energy management you need for an effective pet use and other skill use. You must thus invest heavily in expertise to be able to use skills. A large investment in expertise and BM leaves you very little else to do. I don't see it as a particularly attractive skill so far, but experimenting with it in Factions will determine that.

I agree with the OP, if the skill ressurected your pet it would be marginally useful.

It would be nice if this ressurected pets, i'm getting sick of all the damn skills beast masters must bring to even start on the rest of the build.

BM, Expertise and Marksmanship have worked well for me. A couple of pet attacks and Ferocious Strike for energy management. Theres just no enough stat point sout there to be effective. Pets are too dumb to do it completely alone.

Heal as One does need some kind of improvement. It will not replace Troll Unguent and Comfort Animal on my Beast Master Build.

My pet's health loss due to damage is usually very slow and when it does start going down, meaning it's taken aggro, my health is max. And vice versa. Some kind of bonus to really give it "Elite" status needs to be implemented.

If the 75% requirement were removed and the recharge rate reduced to maybe 5 seconds, it would be a two heal spammable skill.

Erm, you do realize that if either you OR your pet have less than 75% health, then you can use this, right? It doesn't require that you both are injured.

i played around with it on the weekend. overall impression: couldn't tell, a level 3-4 tiger died too fast.
