Just like there is a place for pvp, battle Island. There should be a place for hard core rpg players. Then a place for pvpve players. Seeing that Anet mess up on fractions. They should really have a place just for hardcore rpg.

The term is used quite freely when describing games, there are no real guidelines as to its usage. If GW is advertised as a "CORPG" it doesnt mean that it requires what is generally considered to be "RP" content to justify that title. I understand that this is slightly off topic, but all of your posts bring up this issue.

Why would ANet have trouble "staying afloat" as you put it if the majority of people do not agree with your vision of the game ? This game is directed towards a certain demographic, it cant cater to the needs of every single gamer. Once again, I invite you to change games, simply because it would be better for you. Guild Wars seems to lack what you find important in a game, this is a logical step. |

Putting ideas here is fine. Whining and throwing fits just because someone doesn't agree with you will earn you no respect. I will repeat what others have said, and I mean no disrepect to you by saying this. It sounds like GW is not the game for you. |

why is there a petition about rpg? when anet promised they would have focused on what is fun about rpg. It says alot about the views about rpg players http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=12840 |

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=116806 Alright people, as has become more obvious to me recently this forum needs a bit more organization. It's becoming very difficult and quite a hassle to keep ideas organized. Things such as repeat threads, threads with titles that have nothing to do with the suggestions, multiple suggestions in one thread---these sorts of things make it difficult for both moderators and the community to keep track of ideas that've been suggested here. Because of this, here are the new guidelines we'd like everyone to keep in mind and follow. Always use the search button before posting a new thread to see if your ideas been suggested before.Always check the stickied Index of Ideas to see if your idea can be found in there. If your idea is a slight change of another suggestion that's already been suggested, don't post a new thread on it, post it in the existing thread and continue the discussion over the general idea. Make sure your thread titles list your idea. Don't post threads with vague titles like "Greatest Suggestion Yet" when only in your post do you discuss your suggestion. Make sure your thread title states your idea, to keep things organized and less confusing. Do not post "A Few Ideas" threads. If you have more than one idea ---first double check with the search button and the index thread to make sure they're fresh suggestions, and create a seperate thread for each one with a relevant title. If you don't feel like creating a seperate thread for each suggestion you have, post all of them in the Index of Ideas thread stickied at the top of the forum. Of course, keep this to suggestions only. Not builds, not rants or PvP vs PvE discussions, etc. This is the suggestions forum. Use the Search Button and check the Index thread to make sure you're not repeating an idea. Do it again. There they are, stick to them so this forum can be kept as organized and straight forward as possible. Not only to make it easier for us as a community, but also easier for devs to read and respond. |
