last night, about to do Galrath with my warrior. I hate that mission at the best of times, but thought I'd give it a go again. We need one more person for our group... ah ha! an ele is looking for a group for glarath. I add her/him in.
We set off, the ele seems to be afk... they've been chatty up until we start. Now they've gone quiet... through the second portal, we're fighting, almost die, I say "uh, u mind helping out with the fighting?"...
no response. Hmph. So we carry on, not wanting to give up now. this person had obviously wanted us to do the quest for them while they stand there and not bothered to tell us. So, onward, we all die
the ele is afk or not paying attention, we need them to res us. Obviously we dont spawn at the res portal until we are all dead, and as they are at the portal safe n sound they arent dieing anytime soon... we decide to map jump back and re group...I get a pm asking why the ***8 we'd left them there and could they rejoin the group?!!!
roflWe start again... 2nd time lucky... we get to galrath. My monitor freezes, it's overheating i think. It dies. Cant see a thing. Need to turn it off before it blows up. Type a msg hoping that my group will still be able to see it, as it hadnt kicked me out of the game. Grrrr

. Anyway, I've had that happen quite a few times, not specifically on galrath though. What we did, was draw the aggro onto the person and leave them dead. They then complied quickly when we demanded assistance in the quest... but in the meantime, all the gold drops that were for the person were distributed between the group (mostly my guildies n me) so it was kind of fun to watch. Man, noobs get angry some times. You should have seen the person.
