You mave to love the amazing anim that is the female necro dance

I've always been impressed by the skill of the Anet animation skills and I think a testiment of that is the female necro dance. As you all know it is a part of the dance from Thriller so after a few beers a couple of the necs in our guild got the dance going while waiting to go down SF, I managed to find thriller on shoutcast and played it over teamspeak as they were dancing.

One of them managed to capture a bit of it with fraps; it must be said that the timing of the animation is amazing when put alongside the actual song.

Anyway, enough rambling. Its a just a little fun vid and worth watching at least.

I did this waaaay back about 2nd month of the game with some friends. We had them aligned in a triangle just like the video. Good times.

We have about 18 people in the dance. I tried to fraps it but made my FPS go down to 5 so it didn't work out.

btw yellow gives 15k bonelace crappy "dirt" look, while black die gives it very nice "obsidian" look

Unoriginality, or "total lack of originality" as you put it (same thing) maby, however it is still often the best look for the few armors in guild wars that acualy look good. Yes, most of them do look like sh**.

I had a 15k bonelace set that I dyed a dark purplish blue. Eventually I spotted someone with the same set dyed black and done the same as imo, it looked much better than the dye job I had.

I remember an old beta video where a group of about 8 or 10 necro's did it to, with the Thriller soundtrack playing. Then, all of a sudden, several Gwen's showed up and killed them all.

The synch seems pretty dead-on. Props to A-Net for adding that detail to the game in such a realistic manner.

i always though that the dance animation section done a great job but i wasnt quite as impressed with combat animations in GW but seems like Factions will change that

thats really cool!!! I loved it, gotta show it to all my guildies, as we are thinking of doing the same thing with male mesmers and an irish river dance song.
