PC on just a few GOLD items. Response very appreciated! :)

Wow Im horrible at this but Im trying to get better. Maybe someone can tell me what these 4 are worth? I didn't spend too much money but I want to know if Im even in the same ballpark of things Im supposed to look for. If not, what ARE some things I should be looking for when I get GOLDS!

Fire Dmg: 14-25 (req 8 Marks)
Damage +20% (while hexed)
Armor +6 (vs Physical attks)

Reinforced Buckler
Armor: 16 (Req 10 Tactics

Received Damage -2

Ebon War Hammer of Hammer Mastery
Earth Dmg: 19-35 (req 8 Hammer Mastery)
Damage +15% (while in a stance)
Hammer Mastery +1 (20% chance while using Skills)
---- I hope this one is at least good

Sundering Lowbow of Defense
Piercing Dmg: 13-23 (req 9 Marks)
Damage +15% (while hexed)
Armor Penetration +10% (Chace: 9%)
Armor +5

How about Shield? I also salvaged the bow and got a +9% grip... so thats not too bad. Might get 5k for it somewhere.

Someone just offered me 15k for the Hammer. I figured I'd see if I can get a quick response here before I sell... Im sorry if this is pretty noobish but I really have no clue what these GOLD items are worth.

I also have a question. What is the max dmg for stances? Is it +15% or +20%? Im just wondering if that hammer I have is max or not.

the hammer has a rarish skin. low req. max for stances is 15%. 15k for a stance hammer is very nice. take the offer. the hammer is max in everyway btw; max dmg, max dmg bonus, lowest common req

Actually two questions.

First, is the Shield worth anything or just merch it?

Second, if these items are really valuable why are their green counterparts cheaper? For example, This Hammer is lets say 10-15k... but Victo's Maul is only about 5k and I've seen them as cheap as 2k. Doesn't make sense to me, maybe Im missing something?!

Golds are more valuable because they can have lower reqs (all greens are 9), are salvageable, have various skins, and people just like having things that aren't the same cookiecutter thing that everyone else is running around with

Tain, I know what you are saying.... but I've seen some Bows for example go for 100k and almost the same bow is green for 15k.. is it REALLY worth that much of a price difference for a newer look? Maybe Im missing something. Can you add things like grips, etc, to these GOLDS but not GREENS?? I just don't understand paying an extra 90k or so for a new skin and 1 attribute point lower. I'd rather just put one extra into X Attribute and keep the skin and save my 90k

shield is a few k i.e. 2,3,4,5k

golds can be modded and sound better when you double click what you are using. there are tons of greens and fewer golds. people like rare stuff and golds are rarer. you can mod them to be used in specific builds too

different skins, rarer, moddable, good to show off, lower reqs are all reasons why people will pay more

You're right, you can some greens just as effective as golds for 1/10 the price, but a lot of it is about vanity rather than just effectiveness. When you get that rich, you want something to show for it - something actually rare, that only a few other people in the game might have, and thats what people are paying for
