Hello there. I got my funds in early, and decided to preoder guildwars factions collectors edition from www.gameseek.co.uk
I have had a succesfull order, with 3 different emails confirming my order, and payment. On the www.gameseek.co.uk product view page it says you will be emailed with a pre-order key.I have not yet recieved this key. When will it arrive?
Edit: Also, if I don't get a chance to enter my pre-order code before the release, will I still be able to enter it?

you will miss the early 24 hours but still get the preorder items (ass/rit items)

other than emailing them as TheYellowKid suggested, pop into ur local Game store as i see ur from UK and ask em for a pre-order pack ( u'll have to ask as they will probably not have em on display.) it will cost £1.99 but better that than possibly missing out...

ive jus emailed them now cos i only pre-ordered last nite.. hopefully they'll get back to me within a couple hours or so but failing that i might jus do what was suggested and go to game on thursday.. but hopefully they'll send it, ill let u kno!
edit: 5 mins lata i got an email with the key, jus email them with the order reference number and tell them you've pre-ordered but havent received your key yet and it shoul dbe the same for you

Ya, just drop in at a game store...if they dont have it, you hopefully will get the email from the site, just wont be able to participate in the 24 hour early event

I got the pre-order email. I think most stores will recieve and despatch the game tommorow, and will arrive on the 28th-29th. This will give alot of people the chance to continue play( using the pre-order key) until there box arrives. if I'm correct the pre-order key expires on the night of the 28th.

ok, I have the preorder key, entered it etc, but I ordered the collectors edition and the store I got it from says the collectors ed will be DELAYED until at least May 4th!......I have also heard that the preorder key will only work for 10 days--then you need to enter some other key....whats up with this??? Will I still be able to play even though I dont have my edition after 10days? and why is the collectors edition delayed?

I think the pre-order key only lasts until the end of the 28th. The second key they are talking about is the retail key, this is in the collectors box. Where did you order from??

so its only me being jerked around, yeah, that seems to fit. though my email says this affects ALL US retailers. so lots of unhappy people in the USA today.

I'm sorry to hear this bad news. I hope the best for you all whos orders are getting delayed. Anet should extend the pre-order keys to give longer access to the US pre-orderers.

seems if you got that email I did, you are basically screwed.
Says that you will only be able to play the characters for the 2 days, they will be inactive after that (for a grace period of 10days) if at the end of the grace period you have NOT entered the order key, the characters will be deleted!
This is neglience on the part of the company, and they think we will sit idly by and let them take our money, screw us and then think we will continue on happily.....
so if you pre-ordered the collectors edition in the USA check to make sure you will get in before the grace period runs out, or you will have to start over with your characters!

I may be in luck. I haven't recieved an email from gameseek.co.uk(Yet). I emailed them asking about this. The link on the website to the factions collectors edition does not say out of stock. So I would think if they ran out they would have changed it.

Not where I am, rang up before and the guy said they don't have any. Pretty much said "wait till 9am tomorrow morning", so ah well.
