While it's a great item, there are just so many mutually exclusive bonus that finding the personne that will be able to use this is a task in itself...

I actually have a n/ele that is death and fire and i suppose i could make it water too but its only lvl 5 and right now im jsut trying to make my w/mo as good as possible, and gold helps. How much do u think the wrap would be worth if i sell it? It is only 25, not 30 but 5 hp isnt that much.

He says replace the water mod because the fire mod is unchangeable. You have more chances finding a death-fire N/E than a death-fire-water N/E, so maybe change the wrapping to a fire wrapping (don't know the real name).

Oh i see, but will the cost of adding a fire mod be worth the end result?
In other words, will i make a profit by buying a fire mod and selling the staff?

buy a staff wrapping of fire magic and you can definately get a buyer ... many ele/necros or necro / eles could use this then ... get rid of the water its destrying the staff value for you. I would consider bidding on this if it had fire magic +1 15-20% chance but not water. Currently this is only worth a couple plat imo.
FYI : Hale staff heads go for 30K roughly ... i wouldnt recommend trying to upgrade that end of it ... 25 is high enough ... its just the water wrapping that is throwing a stick in things ... I will have a peek around for a fire wrapping ...

im trying cant seem to find a fire wrap upgrade i dont have much gold either, do u know how much they go for and even if i buy a low end wrap. 15%, how much do u ithnk i could get for the staff?

If I were you, I would sell to vendor now, or salvage it to try get the 25HP head.

If I get a collector one (that death one is easy), it would be
Energy +10
11-22 dmg (req 9 Death Magic)
Improve casting using death 20%
Improve recharging using death 20%
Then I can just buy a 25 head and put it on, it would be far better staff on stats. Furthermore, I may elect to use a wand and cesta, which would be 12 energy, 11-22dmg, casting/recharge 40%/20%.
Of course your item is a gold one, and there are always people like a 10 dmg crystalline sword rather than a 22 dmg +15% enchanted sword.
