Really confused about my monk build

ok i am a mo/me and the deal is.....i am going to be the monk of my guild and i need to be able to heal/protect my guildies during pvp and pve but at the same time be able to protect myself against agro......so wat is an effective build for this.....i plan on becoming a 55 monk at lvl 20.....basicly i want to be able to smite and heal and not lose all my energy in the process

A 55 would not be the best choice if you're going to PvP. They are mostlye for PvE, running and farming.

55 monks are trash for pvp. looking for actual builds that work, search the forums and read stickies.
