Nice. I'm a Tyrian Pathfinder, 78.9% complete. I'm glad for that because I thought I had explored much less than that. Now I've just got to finish up the jungle, a couple south shivers spots, and a few strange corners of the desert. Woot! I just did a fight with a couple guildies from Rankor to Beacon's so the worst is over I believe.

The exploration title is definitely based on true exploration, and not just zoning into an area.

I have 2 characters @ 89%

I wonder if it counts non-mappable areas? (FoW, SF, etc)

What about pre-searing?

..and there should be some titles for certain accomplishments. (completing certain missions with just henchmen, etc)

hmm it's kinda jacked.. like my e/me as 80% searched but all elites and skills on primary and secondary and no mention of skills master.. then on my warrior it has a thing that says I need 90 elites to get a skills master title? is that all on one character- or across them all.. that's pretty hardcore but I can definitely pull it off on my monk.. has like 150 skill points extra right now- kinda crazy though

Same, my mesmer is with simply Tyrian Master Cartographer and Fame. Nothing for the skill hunter or other titles.

the crappy thing.. most the titles ( with the expetion of the rank one) are charicter dependant..

what current charicters you have not what ones you played for 6 months, got bored of, and redid..

Id give up all the title stuff for two things...

AGE title....

and

GVG title.....

ime wondering if evry one in your guild gets the same gvg title (or at leas the 8 people who are gvging) or there are certain titles given out to a few players such as some kind of MVP, lots of kills in a gvg, a title for the monks if the match is flawless and what ever else. any 1 kno about the gvg titles?

someone asked it before but ill ask again: do areas like Sorrows Frunace and Underworld count?

and someone with a monk can check theire titles tab and see if they have the elite title bar? it shows on the other chars but not on the monk.

Skill Hunter. You must capture 90 Elite skills to earn the first level of this title. (Character based.) "Character based" means 90 elite skills per character, not account... if I'm reading that right.

The "Tyria Mission Completion" title only appears on one of my characters and at that it only displays a portion of the missions that he's actually completed. It should be able to compute it correctly, the shields on the map display correctly after all. Maybe in a patch or two...

Treasure hunt = amount of chest you open. 100 chests opened = first title.
Wisdom title = amount of rares you identify. 100 id's = first title..I think. Not on Mason atm :P

Double-check, make sure you have all of the elite skills that may have been on the pre-mades which I think was my problem. I thought I had them all, since I hadn't used any faction to unlock skills and scrolling through the Priest of Balthazar showed that I had that one elite missing.

For my warrior it shows four bars with the following names for them: hero title tracker, exploration of tyria, skill hunter, and tyria mission.

For my monk and elementalist it only shows hero title tracker and exploration of tyria.

Anyone know the reason behind this?

Treasure Hunter I believe is relative to your character level. An Ascalon chest didn't improve my ranking, but a Shiverpeak (southern) did.

Still not sure why the tyria mission one isn't appearing as I have of the bonuses/missions done...

If you don't see the Skill Hunter bar, it'll appear once you get another Elite skill. Possibly the mission/quest title is the same way; go do one of the repeatable quests and see what happens.
