fraps compression

hey what dose everyone use to compress fraps avi files down? the few things ive tried have given me nothing smaller then a 55meg file from a 400 meg file
any suggestions?

personally I use XviD

I also use VirtualDub with XviD. You can change the compression level of it, experiment until you get a good balance of resolution and quality

i think you are already doing a good job from getting 400mb to 55mb. why go any smaller? anyways, i vote for vdub too, its the best.

Another vote here for Virtual Dub! Although I'd say that is a fairly acceptable difference in size! I'd be pleased!
