Canthan Ambassador - Guild Halls - Can't Buy One?!

Anyone else notice the Canthan Ambassador on the boat isn't selling Guild Halls anymore or... or, more accurately put, doesn't do anything when you click on him?

Anyone know what the deal is with that. I'm the leader/creator of a guild...

I noticed this aswell, especially after noticing the Canthan ferry captain has disappeared... Maybe the Ambassador threw him in the bay and drowned him to stop people buying guild halls

Anyway, there is now an Ambassador in Great Temple of Balthazar aswell, but he just looks at you funny

What's the deal?! hehe. Like, why would they update the game to make things not work. I didn't notice this in any recent patch notes like...

- Fixed bug where by Ambassador sells Guild Halls, and now no longer does anything.

Just wondering if I have to now buy the expantion to get a Guild Hall.

Just a speculation... but they've probably temporarily removed the ability to buy a Guild Hall in order to put in new ones from Canthan landscapes.

Mmm. Damn! Haha. The one time I actually want to buy the thing too. Heheh. Ahh well. It'll be back i'm sure.

Guild Wars is slowly turning into something like the CS community... in recent months. What's the deal with that? Grr... pity.

Wait a minute. I went to the boat captain after the 4th update and had him take me to an isle/guildhall and when I clicked on the ambassador there he still had the "i'd like to make this isle/guildhall my own" (or whatever the proper wording is) option.

well, (to the poster that wanted a hall today, but couldnt buy one)

just think....what about if you go tomorow and theres NEW halls for view?
(im hoping that you can just buy new ones from the same guy if you merged, rather than having to go thru Cantha to get to someplace to go see them new halls)

i mean...what if theres a new one that totally makes you mess yourself with delight just looing at it, and you bought one today instead.....

I Just Bought 2 Sigils From The Sigil Trader After The Boat Ride To Look At The Islands

Factions isn't an expansion per se, it is a standalone product that can be integrated with the Prophecies campaign (original GW) and you don't need it to access any Prophecies content. there's another thread here on same subject -> Click Here

I don't think the problem is the ability to buy Sigils from the trader, moreso that the Canthan Ambassador at the Guild Hall of choice won't give you your hall. Instead he just takes the sigil and returns you to the preview of the islands

Canthans are all evil, they're hording sigils so we have to buy Canthan Guild Halls! D:<
