Before the update, under the edit account -> manage access menu, i quite clearly had:

Guild Wars Factions Head Start.

I know this because when i got my first pre-order key in an email from GAME, about a month ago now, i added it to my account, and this is when it appeared, along with the pre-order account.

So i check today, after a guildmate of mine said it did not appear when he added his pre-order key.

And now mine is gone!!

This could have been very bad, as i had a different key sent to me in the pre-order package (snail mail), and i was about to give this to a guildy! Now it looks like i can't do this

just checked it. it's gone.

Anet/Gaile/ explain plz...

specifically, the pre order faction items are still on mine. but the early access is gone now???...

???

(btw. before the update it did say I had "Early Access" on the 27th.)

just changed the way it's called... u still have the 2 preorder items, that mean u preordered.

Maybe they're reworking it (10day grace period or even grace access for the poor CE'rers)

But yeah that is something with headstart about 15hrs away I don't like to hear about its disappearance...!

What? Why? some of my friends have paid £29.99 for the pre-order package, which hasn't arrived yet, so they won't get it in time for the headstart, and now their original pre-order key doesn't state that it will let them play the head start..

I just got my preorder key a few days ago. All it listed was "factions preorder items" or something like that. Now it just lists the two items, spirit binder and dragon fangs. It never said anything before about early access and doesn't now either. I hope I didn't shafted.

They also did that with the PvP Faction preview event key I added to the account. I think there were cleaning up key listing / names. I doubt the early event access has been delayed or canceled.

they cleaned it up.

the reference to my chapter 1 early access is finally gone.

i also just got an additional 60 MB download on top of the one earlier today

If you have access to the /preorder command then you will automatically be granted access to the 24 hour head start.

It's as simple as that.

Go into GW and try it now...

Yea i've always been able to do that. I certainly hope thats the case

That early access you were seeing was for the Prophecies campaign. Factions pre-orderers saw ONLY the entry for the pre-order items. Those who had pre-ordered both Prophecies and Factions confused the early access line with the upcoming one.

Nope.

It is the past one.

They just cleaned up the entries that were not relevant anymore. If you see the Factions pre-order items in the list, we'll be seeing you in the headstart, don't you worry.

I do remember the words "Factions/Early Access/ and the date April.27th.2006" have it's own line. (**important obviously was the 2006 detail of it). (and the prophecies thing along with it.).

If only anyone really paid attention to it by now. we would have known if there was a real change.

I think it was one of those things that can catch you off guard bcuz it isnt that big looking at it again. If someone can find an old screenie that would be great. /no biggie though..
