Anet's Mind Games?
Phrozenflame
With all the wierd updates and rumours going super crazy...is ANet playing mind guames to spice things up?
You know we'd have heard an official word by now with all the frenzy going on with the crazy updates.
IMO they are making it all more exciting ^^ adrenaline spike in 3..2...1.. [You can now login in to your Faction's Account]

I'm sure it's not intentional. It's just the weird stuff that happens before a major launch like this... I wouldn't be surprised to see some roll-backs during the Head Start (if something catastrophic like a trader reset happens).
Part of the purpose of the Head Start is to have one more chance to catch major bugs before Faction releases to the general public!

I hope I find cheap items which will later get nerfed and I make millions with them.

I actually was hoping for some trade values with a new continent...
Otherwise I'll probably be wondering why I dragged myself out of bed at 3am!

It wouldn't surprise me if they did some things just to make it more intense. Getting everyone worried about their preorder, so the day they can get on early, they all go on, etc.

Mordakai I agree this was a glitch but unlike the trader reset and then a server roll-back they let the cat out of the bag about +5 engery weapons and let us in one some of the skill changes they want or "trying" out in there testing

Has anyone noticed one of the three GW:F PvP pre-made armours now have the collector's model?
Anymore of these sneaky changes?

i saw that, which kind of sucks, because i thought the warrior's collective armor set was nifty, cause no one really has it you know?

It's likely that most of the updates Guild Wars are experiencing will not be noticed until Factions comes out, at which point we may not even notice them, merely assuming it was the Factions update itself.
I think it's a good idea. We get it out of the way now, and those of us who buy Factions won't be sitting there for an hour downloading the first update of the game. Well, hopefully

But seriously, I may only be able play 2-3 hours tops in this head start. Life sucks!
