Hi, I wanted to share my plans for my PvE assasin that I plan on making tomorrow. I've always liked using melee weapons, but I don't really enjoy being a warrior for long periods of time. When looking at assasins, I thought it would be fun to use something other than daggers.
Critical Strikes- 9 +1 +3
Shadow Arts- 3 + 1
Axe Mastery- 12
Tactics- 9 (lower if I can find a low req shield)
Skills:
"Watch Yourself!"
Shadow Refuge
Healing Signet
Triple Chop (subject to change depending on situation)
Cyclone Axe (also subject to change)
Sharpen Daggers
Critical Eye
Resurrection Signet
I will use an axe with a zealous mod, and a shield with while enchanted mods.
As you can probably tell, the focus of this build is to get criticals. I like using a shield for the added defense, making my assasin not as fragile. The shadow Refuge/Healing signet combo is great for healing, as long as I don't get interupted. I might change the Axe skills once I start to play with my assasin more. With this build I will have no problems with energy, I actually will probably have more energy than I will need.
I also had another build where I use VIM, with Vipers defense, Dismember and Axe Twist, putting 4 conditions on the enemy, which makes good use of VIM
What do you guys think? I welcome any suggestions.

Not bad...
Can lower your Critical Strike to 8, especially if you're using zealous.
I'm sure this build will leave your with a lot of energy...which is wasted if you're unable to use it.
