Can characters learn skills from other campaigns?

This may or may not be the right forum, but I'm not really sure what would be the right one soo...


Alright, here's my question: Will a character created in Prophecies be able to learn Faction skills, and visa-versa? I know there are some "core skills" that will be in both campaigns, but it would seem unfair if people who owned both just had more skills than everyone else.

Does anyone know how this will work? Has it even been announced?

If you own both Prophecies and Factions, and merge them to one account, then your Tyrian characters can travel to Cantha and learn skills there from trainers or quests or captures like normal. And vice-versa for Canthan characters.

If you don't buy Factions, then you can't learn Factions skills. It may seem unfair, but owners of both games are still limited to 8 skills at a time, so it's not really unbalancing.

But people who have both will have access to builds that people who just own one don't, and those are probably the builds that everyone will want, and therefore only people who own both will still be able to find groups.
