Rumors is the rare material trade when bough has ectos/shards etc are super low prices than outside in cities, but sometimes rumors are fabrications.

Imo prices are to steep. Half them and there fine. Guild storage would be good aswell.

And for everyone that thinks they are a waste of money; it's a great way to avoid local/trade chat spam so you don't have to turn it off all the time; or you just don't spend enough time in the Guild Hall (ok ok I get bored at times and spend hours just sitting in the Guild Hall, now I can watch prices woot~!).

Weaponsmith is actually EXTREMELY useful.
Why you ask? You can now customize PvE weapons for your PvP character for the first time ever!

Our Guild got em all. 470k well spent.

This will be good so people can do business on their character without having to put up with mobs of people and spam in busy towns. Also, it will encourage guild members to visit the guild hall if a lot of NPCs have been hired, so it will make the guild more "united" in a sense because they will be spending more time in the same "town" area.

To be honest, I think that is an awesome idea. I have often wondered why there are no Storages in Guild Halls. Now there is finally an answer to such an annoying issue.
The other services are pretty awesome as well. However, those are pretty steep prices. But if you think about it, if it's in the GH then it would usually be something that everyone chips in for. So thus not making the prices so steep.

I'm a little upset.
Yesterday i've buyed some of the NPC's for my Guild.
The Priest, Xunlai Agent, ..., and SKILL TRAINER, this one cost me 100k, i taught that will be nice we don't have to go to Fire Island to buy a new Skill.
After buyed the service, i've just take a look of the skills that he had to offer, big big dispointment only a few skills, i think he only have the skills available for a char that is at Lions area, not all the skills i can buy at Ember Camp.
I understand in part this cause if some char is at LA area he shouldn't have access to Skills that are only available later in the game. But this should be filtered by char, if my char already reached Droks or ROF, i should have access to the skills available there.
100k for this service, this stinks badly.

Thank you for sharing that information! Now I know not to spend 100k on a Skill Trader!

Xunlai is good for exhanging stuff with guildies / having mule accounts for the guild, apart from thats its pretty damn useless to get most of them, It would be interesting to see what levl of skill trader he is?
Has anybody purchased the skilltrader, is he equivacle to say Ring of Fire, or more like Ascalon trader. It would definatly be loved to pieces if it was Ring Of Fire trader with all purchasable skills.

The skill trainer has all the CORE skills, wich means no prophecies or factions only skills.
The idea was implemented to make the guild hall acualy worth going to for something other than GvG - it is an exelent idea.
The prices are only steep if one person is buying all of them. Members, officers, and guild leader can all purchase them, or pitch in to get them.
Guild based storage was announced (in an interview or on guildwars.com, forget wich one) to be implemented a few days after the release. This will most likely be another 100k service, and I am waiting to see how it is implemented.
Once again from an interview or update notes on guildwars.com, forget which, once the services are purchased, they stay there permamently - even if you switch guild halls.
Skirmish battles have also been introduced - the guild hall is now worth going to, above nearly all other towns.
As our guild hall does not yet have the skill trainer, I am unable to confirm if he carries unlocked skills like all the other trainers, but I would suspect so.
Read what the discription of the service's is before you judge. It was clearly stated on the skills trainer service that he is a skills trainer with core skills, and the weaponsmith says he can customize weapons - does not state that he can do anything else.

We do GvG for fun, and try out crazy builds sometimes.
"Have this skill?" "Nope, let me go buy." *comes back to hall*
"Did you get this one too?" *sigh* "I'll be back."
It also seems ridiculous when you want to exchange something... How many times have you done this?:
"Can I have that sword?" "Sure, where are you?" "Ok, what d?" "That d is full" "Ok try this one" "I don't see you" "I'm at storage".... etc etc etc...
Let's meet at GH instead!!!!

There is actually a good reason for a few of the NPCs for the GH. The skill, rune, storage, and priest traders are excellent additions for a GH.
Skill trader is a nice convenience, as you can purchase skills for pve characters that you've unlocked via pvp (or pve on a different character. Let's say you want to play some gvg with your pve character (hey, it happens). The build your team is running requires your ele/mo to switch to el/me and have certain skills you've unlocked with your me/mo, but don't currently have on your el/mo. You run to the desert, switch secondary, go back to the GH, and purchase the needed mesmer skills.
Rune trader is also nice - you rolled up a trapper for pvp yesterday, but today you'll need a barrage ranger (just an example). Instead of having to reroll your character all over again just to change from a superior WS to superior marksmanship, you just spend a little gold and buy the rune instead. Saves time. Also helps when you're running your pve character in pvp for similar reasons. Time saver.
Storage is also nice, you can grab that victo's bulwark sitting in storage now for your pvp character a the GH instead of having to zone to RA. Just don't delete it by mistake!
And of course, the Priest lets you spend that faction you've earned without leaving the party you're in at the GH.
Dye traders - eh, now you can dye your pvp armor I guess? Haven't tried, don't think I ever will as asthetics isn't that big of a deal for me.
Others, meh, don't see much of a reason for them. Would be nice if the weapon smith could craft pvp style weapons so you didn't have to reroll a character if you need to change from an axe to a hammer warrior during a gvg session.
But all in all, pretty neat additions.
Rhuobhe
My guild had all the traders within hours of them being available! To me it is SOOO worth it.
Why? Convenience. It is SOO damned convenient, the only way it could be better is if you put the traders in a line.
1 stop shopping.
Say I go on a FoW run and just completed it. I'm back in ToA and hit G, go to the GH. Sell any dye, materials, rare mats, that I need to sell, I buy a superior ID/Salvage if need be, sell runes, and I do whatever else it is that I need to do.
Hit G, Leave Guild Hall and I'm back in action.
Sure it only saves about 2-3 minutes of time, but it does so EVERY time ANYONE uses it. So you're looking at a very high level of added value, IMO.
Amnoon Oasis was previously the best place to do "1 stop shopping" due to it's small size and availability of every trader (aside from a fulll skills and priest)

For those still wondering, purchased services will transfer when you change halls. Tested and confirmed last night.
Eclair
So can anyone confirm whether the Skill Trainer will provided ALL core skills to any character, even if they're level 3?
Spiderguard
I purchased them all for my guild, why...simply for the convience. It will save time when we do group trips, instead of running all over for the different NPCs.
Thanks Anet.
